Jung Ilhoon

15 April:

On April 14th, BtoB‘s Jung Ilhoon injured his ankle during a dance practice.

Soon after the accident, Jung Ilhoon was immediately taken to the hospital where his ankle was encased in a cast.  Despite the injury, Jung Ilhoon still attended MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ with the cast on.

A representative of the group’s label, Cube Entertainment revealed, “It’s not a big accident, but it looks like we will need to observe his injury.  We are still planning to continue the group’s promotion while treating Jung Ilhoon’s injury at the hospital.”

In related news, BtoB recently released their debut single, “Secret“, earlier this month.

On May 23rd (KST), rookie group BtoB released their Asia special edition album ‘Born TO Beat‘, beginning their full-fledged activities throughout Asia.

The Asia special edition album includes their single, “Irresistible Lips” and they’ve released the music video for it.

“Irresistible Lips” was already revealed through JTBC‘s sitcom, ‘I Live in Cheongdamdong‘, where many of the members have previously attracted much attention as they appeared as the ‘Cheongdam Invincible’ idol group.

BtoB have released their special album first in Korea on and the album will later go on sale in Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Later, it is planned that the album will sell in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China, spreading throughout Asia. On May 24th, BtoB will perform in Singapore’s Clarke Quay , appearing to their international fans on stage for the first time at the ‘Music Masters‘ global conference.

New idol group BtoB has released a behind-the-scenes clip for their ‘ID FILM’ and “Insane” album jacket photo shoot!

After finally holding their round of debut performances last week with their title track, “Secret“, BtoB is proving to be quite the formidable rookie, as it’s just been revealed that they were featured on Spain’sTele5 TV‘s news as well as Cuatro TV.

It’s just been two days since the release of their music video, so officials were surprised to see them already being introduced on two Spanish public broadcast channels consecutively.

On ‘Tele 5 TV’, the reporters introduced them as the new rising figures of K-Pop, explaining, “K-Pop groups that have both outstanding music and visuals are making their way to the Spanish music market. Their memorable songs and performance styles exceed that of Lady Gaga’s, and they’ve already amassed hundreds of thousands of fans outside of Asia.”

The channel previously reported on K-Pop back in January, and picked it up again this time in a more detailed fashion. ‘Cuatro TV’ featured their report on K-Pop in the 9 p.m. time slot featuring interviews with fans and band introductions.

BtoB was the first artist to be introduced, the reporters noted, “Remember their name, as they will be the leaders of a new fan culture with teens.”

On March 24th, rookie group BtoB released a practice video from before their debut through their official Daum Fan Cafe that has caught the attention of fans.

The video contains BtoB’s “first behind story” which includes their practice before debut and the struggles they have gone through in order to chase after one dream, to become a star. Through the footage, BtoB expresses that they have “pressed a new play button in their lives” and showed their sincere determination.

The group performed both their double title tracks “Insane” and “Imagine” for the first time on Mnet‘s ‘M!Countdown‘ on March 22nd, followed by KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘ on March 23. Through these two performances, BtoB has received positive feedback for their charisma filled stages and their powerful dance choreography.

BtoB’s first track, “Insane”, is a song that was composed collaboratively by Seo Jae Woo and Seo Yong Bae. The two composers have also direced the boys’ concept, as well as assisting in being their vocal trainers.

Aside from “Insane”, the group has also received high praise for their ballad performance for “Imagine”. With a dramatic dance choreography and a powerful and sensuous melody, the group has proved to be worthy of the title, “super rookie of 2012″.

BtoB will be performing their title songs, as well as a special performance, on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘ on the 24th, followed by their performance on SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘.

Cube Entertainment just revealed profiles for the members of its rookie band, BTOB,  earlier today and now have unleashed the first music video teaser for the group’s debut single.

Though the name of their title track is still a mystery.   The lyrics state, “without a need of word, the moment we look into each other’s eyes we’re wanting it.” Eager fans can finally get a taste for what the song sounds like and more importantly the boys’ vocals in the short but sweet teaser.

BTOB will hold a premium launching show on March 21st and begin their activities at the same time. Watch the teaser below to get your first taste of the group’s music.

Cube Entertainment revealed the profiles for the members of its rookie band, BTOB, on its official homepage. In addition, it is planning to reveal their first teaser at 2:00 PM KST.

The members’ age ranges from 18 to 23, each showcasing a soft masculine visual and personality.

Already Seo Eunkwang, Lim Hyunshik, Lee Minhyuk, and Jung Ilhoon showed off their charismatic appeal and image on jTBC‘s sitcom, ‘I Live in Cheongdamdong‘.

The profiles also revealed the three other members: Lee Chang Sub, Yook Sungjae, and Peniel Shin.

The agency stated, “With resonating vocals, emotional rapping, and dance genre, they will open a new chapter. The members have excellent skills of being lyricists, composers, and rap making.”

BTOB will hold a premium launching show on March 21st and begin their activities at the same time.
