Singer Gummy is preparing to take flight in Japan with her debut mini-album, “Loveless“, and to help boost her promotions, she’s released the short MV for her title song, “Sorry“.
She’s enlisted the aid of fellow labelmate T.O.P. from Big Bang, who transforms into a curious caretaker of birds for her MV.

Big Bang’s T.O.P. will be supporting labelmate Gummy by starring in her debut Japanese music video!
On September 1st, the star took to his Me2day to write, “I’ll be working with director Lee Jae Han for the second time since our movie, ‘Into the Fire‘, for Gummy-senior’s Japanese title P/V. I hope that you’ll all look forward to it.”
With his hair dyed into an ash-blond color, T.O.P.’s latest style looks modern and clean. The pigeon on his shoulder adds a fantasy-like feel to the overall cut, making viewers curious about the MV’s plot.

It’s just been revealed that Gummywill be making a return to the music scene with a brand-new album in November!
“Gummy is scheduled for a November comeback,” said an industry insider. “She is currently in the stage of finishing up her album.”
This new album will be her first non-OST effort in more than a year, following her “Love Recipe” release from 2010. According to the insider, her new album received the help of Choi Kap Won, who also worked with IUfor her hit albums.
The album will be filled with quality songs that bring out her unique, soulful voice; the music video was filmed in Japan following the album recording.
Along with her new album, Gummy is slated to participate in MBC‘s survival reality program, ‘I Am a Singer‘.
With the elimination of singer Jo Kyu Chan on the latest episode of MBC‘s ‘I Am a Singer‘, soloistGummy was named as the next singer to join the show.
Gummy joined a recent recording for the show at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan on October 24th. Gummy debuted back in 2003 and has several hit tracks on her record like “Pain” and “Amnesia”; she’s also been focusing on her Japanese advancement with “Sorry“. Her impressive and powerful vocal talent is sure to fit right in with the rest of the prestigious cast in the show.
The episode featuring Gummy’s first appearance will air on November 6th.

Gummy will debut through the label YGEX, a collaboration entity between YG Entertainment and Japan’s avex. She plans to release a total of six singles from her album “Loveless“, including “Sorry“, her duet with Big Bang‘s T.O.P.
Gummy stated, “I’ve been dreaming of this for a while, so I’m nervous and looking forward to it.”
