Via twitter, JOO recently posted a picture where she’s enjoying dinner at a restaurant with Wonder Girls members Sunye and Yenny . Along with the photo, she also wrote: “A picture!! Keke. Hey.. Why are the prettily dressed unnies gathered over there >_<~~~”

JOO looks very cute with her bow while Yenny and Sunye pose happily with peace signs, showing off the JYP family love.

Yesterday, JOO and Super Junior’s Leeteuk unveiled their duet collaboration, “ICE CREAM“, online.  Both the digital single and the music video’s popularity have been soaring, thanks to the combined interest from fans of both labels.

Since fans were usually accustomed to seeing JOO sing ballads, “ICE CREAM” (which is also Leeteuk’s first ever duet) came as a sweet treat for them.

The song is currently rising to the top of the charts on Naver, Daum, Bugs, and Melon.

Many listeners left favorable reviews, pointing out that the fun melody line and catchy guitar rhythm. The heartwarming song wittily tells about the different feelings between a man and a woman in love.

Fans also remarked over how JOO and Leeteuk were able to bring so much emotion into the song, making it sound as if it were sung by real lovers.

On May 16th, JOO and Super Junior’s Leeteuk finally released their long-awaited collobaration single, “ICE CREAM“!

Fans were not only able to see a new side to JOO, who’s usually known for her ballads, but they got a new experience for Leeteuk as well, since it’s his first time participating in a duet.

The song was composed by Shim Eun Ji and written by Kim Eun Soo.

Featuring a fun melody line with an combination of strings and guitars which are meant to express the different emotions men and women go through as lovers.

Singer JOO and Super Junior Leeteuk will be releasing a duet.

Since last 6th, JOO made many people curious with her sweet talk with 2PM Wooyoung, Chansung, and Taecyeon. Fianlly, today on the 10th, she uploaded a picture of her and Leeteuk on MeToday and revealed that the duet will be released sometime in middle of May as a digital single.

In the relay of MeTodays, 2PM Wooyoung said ‘Are all girls like this. Do their moods change 12 times a day? It’s hard, it’s hard. Because of you my head hurts.’

To this JOO said to Wooyoung ‘Do guys really not know, that every word is important? Why don’t you know my heart. Fool. Didn’t even feel love.’ and on the 7th, Chansung said, ‘I can’t even get angry. How did this come to be.’ and JOO replied ‘Oppa, you know that well. Sometimes I am selfish, but I only like one person.’

On the 8th, Taecyeon said, ‘I think you’re angry. I tried hard today too. She soon smiled and wasn’t mad. Even though it’s hard, I melt, I melt. Because of you, everyday, I melt.’

Setelah menghabiskan 2 tahun sebagai trainee setelah debut tahun 2008, JOO akhirnya kembali ke Music Bank denganE-TRIBE-produced berjudul, “Bad Guy,” dari mini-albumnya, “Heartmade.”
“Bad Guy” mendapat ranking di beberapa situs musik seperti Melon, Cyworld, Monkey3, Naver Music, Soribada dll sejak dirilis. JOO menyatakan, “This album depicts my feelings of running without rest for the past two years.  I’m thankful for the amount of interest it has generated.”

On August 16th, JOO posted via Twitter, “I’m so excited for the JYP Nation concert that’s happening today! I also love Rilakkuma…Jjok”.

In the attached picture, JOO is seen gleefully hugging the giant Rilakkuma bear that threatens to almost smother her. But she seems incredibly happy just to hold it, as seen by the happy wink she sends the camera.

Ballad diva JOO comeback minggu ini dengan mini-album, “Heartmade“, setelah 2 tahun absen. Ia mengikuti beberapa interview, dan saat sesi dengan Osen, ia ditanyakan mengapa ia bukan menjadi member girl group.
Joo menyatakan, “I was curious about that as well.  I never thought I’d have a solo career.”
“If I were to be put in a group, time-wise, I would’ve been with either the Wonder Girls or miss A. But I think people believe that my charms stand out more when I’m standing on my own, as opposed to being with others.  Being alone as a soloist means more responsibilities, and it was a lot of pressure, which is why I studied and trained in music even harder over the past two years. Perhaps they thought my voice was better suited to ballads than dance tracks.”
Saat ditanyakan apakah ia mendapat kesempatan untuk debut sebagai member girl group selama 2 tahun training, ia menjawab, “I returned to being a trainee under the condition that I’d release an album upon my return, so there were no plans to become a group member.”
