YG Entertainment revealed, “T.O.P. has plans of pursuing his acting career this year so we’re currently looking over several different drama and movie offers. We’re steering the discussion for ‘Celebrity’ in a positive light, but that is just one of many we’re considering.”
T.O.P. was rumored to be in discussion for ‘Love Rain‘ and ‘Absolute You‘ last year, but he’s decided to wait it out for ‘Celebrity’, a drama that handles the various scandals in the entertainment industry. A girl that becomes betrayed by her idol boyfriend debuts as a celebrity herself to get revenge but falls in love with another top star.
T.O.P. himself will be playing the role of a perfectionist named Jung Soo Hyun, a man that falls in love with ‘Ban Hana’, the girl that becomes betrayed by her former love.

T.O.P is currently a student at Dangook University, studying Theater and Film and is currently wrapping up his eighth semester. This means the rapper will be graduating in February of 2012 and an insider at the University claims, “T.O.P recently met with a counselor to discuss his options after graduation“, and that “It looks like he will be enrolling as a grad student sometime next year.”
Photos of the handsome rapper recently surfaced on an online community site, where he was seen casually eating in the school cafeteria and taking pictures with some of his fellow students. It seems as though he was on campus that day to meet with school counselors in order to plan out his next steps to attend grad school.
The multi-talented T.O.P debuted with idol group Big Bang in 2006, showcasing his rap skills in songs like “Lie“, “Last Goodbye“, “Day by Day“, etc. He has also taken up acting roles in ‘I Am Sam‘ in 2007, as well as ‘Into The Fire‘ in 2010, earning himself the ‘Best New Male Actor Award’ and ‘Most Popular Award’ at the 47th annual Paeksang Arts Awards.

T.O.P is currently a student at Dangook University, studying drama and cinema. Though the handsome rapper has been busy doing endorsement shoots and featurings on other singers’ tracks, he made sure to attend his classes.
T.O.P. was snapped having lunch at the student cafeteria, and contrary to his usual sharp style, he dressed more conservatively to fit in with the students.
Netizens commented, “A rare gem at our school“, “I drink out of those cups too, but it looks like silver in his hands“, “You can tell he’s a celebrity no matter what he wears“, “Nice~ he eats at the cafeteria without caring about what other people think“, and “Other people’s food probably got cold because they were too busy staring keke”.

It’s being rumored that Big Bang’s T.O.P has teamed up with Hallyu-famous producer Yoon Suk Ho to play the leading role in the producer’s return project to the small screen.
For those of you who may have forgotten, Yoon Suk Ho is famous for his smash-hit drama series, “Winter Sonata” and “Autumn Fairytale“, which helped the Hallyu movement gain much momentum overseas.
In any case, these rumors whisper that T.O.P was offered the leading role for the drama, “Our Happy Youth“. Considering how he’s impressed many with his acting abilities in 2009’s “IRIS” and 2010’s “Into the Fire“, anticipation is building high for this new project.
The industry is stating that there’s a high chance that “Our Happy Youth” will air in August after KBS 2TV’s “Myung Wol the Spy” wraps up.
Meanwhile, PD Yoon Suk Ho has been revealing his talents in various fields such musical productions. This will be his first drama since his 2006 seasonal drama, “Spring Waltz“.

The first shot featured leader G-Dragon, and now, the ‘D-6′ instalment features the group’s sexy rapper, Mr.T.O.P!
T.O.P is seen giving a slight smile, and his face is half hidden underneath a formidable cap. The air of mystery thickens after reading the enclosed caption, “I just want to hold you close to me“.
Could it be a teaser of a lyric in their new songs? Only six more days until we find out!

30 Maret:Apparently Big Bang’s T.O.P had one too many drinks when he dialed into UFO to leave messages for his fans. Although we’re not 100% sure if he was drunk or if he’s just normally crazy, good entertainment is good.
Some of the stuff TOP says makes no sense, but it’s pretty damn awesome anyway. We hope he continues to provide fine entertainment like this in the near future – keep up the great work choomT.O.P (“dance” T.O.P)!

23 Februari: We’re just one day away from Big Bang eargasmic comeback and the long wait is almost coming to an end, with the release of the final spot comeback teaser featuring Big Bang member, T.O.P.
