SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!
With Pyeongchang getting named as the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics earlier in the week, the episode was full of references to that announcement as a mark of celebration.
The ‘Take 7‘ nominees for this week’s show were 2PM (“Hands Up“), 2NE1 (“I Am The Best“),SECRET (“Starlight Moonlight“), f(x) (“Hot Summer“), Rainbow (“Sweet Dream“), 8eight (“Close That Lip“), and T-ara (“Roly-Poly“). All of them were present to perform their hits.
It was announced that 2PM was the winner once again! This was their second consecutive Mutizen win since making a return with “Hands Up”. Congratulations to 2PM!

‘Inkigayo’ has prepared another special stage involving SHINee and f(x) this week!
After a slew of special stages over the past two weeks, Inkigayo has arranged for another one, this time with SHINee’s Key, Minho and Taemin who was joined by the f(x) members for a performance of SHINee’s “Hello” to mark Pyeonchang being the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Girl’s Day made a comeback on ‘Inkigayo‘ with their new track, “Hug Me Once“, from their first mini-album.
The group got together with producer Nam Gi Sang (of “Twinkle Twinkle” fame) to create “Hug Me Once”, a song that carries a melody as refreshing as a summer breeze.
The repetitive use of the phrase “hug me once” adds to the addictive quality of the song, and ultimately brings together the harmony of the five girls’ vocals.
Girl’s Day said, “We’ve worked hard preparing this song for the past two months so we hope that our fans will enjoy it. We’re always nervous about our comeback stage, but we’ll do our best to make sure that it’s both cherished and enjoyable.”

After selling out their comeback mini-album presales, Block B has taken the stage on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo‘ with “Go and Tell“.
Block B was formed after many years of Cho PD’s preparations. Their debut mini-album was released just one month and a half after their debut single.
Block B had the help of Korea’s best hip-hop seniors prior to their debut. The team’s leader Zico wrote and co-composed “Go and Tell” which is an upbeat and exciting track that fits the summer season.
