ZE:A recently experienced an alarming stage incident that had netizens once again criticizing the lack of security around performers.
On August 8th, the members of ZE:A were performing “Heart For 2” at the World Cultural Expo in Kyungju, when a drunken audience member suddenly burst onto the stage.
The video clip recorded the drunkard going on stage during the performance, stealing Kevin’s microphone before he tried to take Dongjun’s. He was quickly restrained by security personnel, and ZE:A managed to complete their performance.
A representative from Star Empire stated, “A drunken audience member suddenly went on stage during the performance. It could’ve been a dangerous situation but it ended well without any injuries. The members first thought the man was a staff member and laughed it off. It was just an accident.
Due to other events involving lax security, such as Taeyeon’s kidnapping incident and INFINITE’s recent stage disruption, netizens expressed their concern for ZE:A. They commented, “It was a dangerous situation” and “The audience seems to be been losing their respect and conscience lately.

Posted on ZE:A’s official me2day on July 20th, they posted, “This is the last layer shirt for his Guinness World Record attempt that Kwanghee was talking about on ‘Strong Heart‘ yesterday. Dongjun and Siwan wore this 25XL size T-shirt~The kids who wore this shirt as a blanket are ZE:A boys“.

16 July:

Inspired by a parody music video called “ZE:A’s Pororo”, which is quickly becoming a hot issue on the ‘net, ZE:A’s Dongjun left a proof picture of himself as ‘Pororo’, the beloved children’s star!
On July 16th, ZE:A’s management company, Star Empire, left a message saying, “Since everyone was saying ZE:A’s Pororo~ Pororowe are surprising you with this! This is the true ZE:A’s President Po! Dongjun. By what percentage do you think they look alike?”.
In the attached photo, Dongjun is seen wearing a hat and glasses that look similar to the ones that Pororo sports. Because of Dongjun’s egg-shaped face and large eyes, he definitely bears a resemblance to the famous animated penguin.

12 July:

ZE:A returned with their special single album, “Exciting” last week on July 8th. In the short four days since it’s release, the group has managed to nab the number one spot on Hanteo’s real time album sales chart
ZE:A’s previous album releases unfortunately coincided with high profile incidents such as the ROKS Cheonan sinking and the devastating earthquake in Japan, both of which hindered the group’s sales as the world’s focus was shifted elsewhere. Fortunately, there were no such incidents with this latest release.
This title track, “Watch Out!” is about a shy boy struggling to confess his love and the lyrics match the sweet melody perfectly. The special single also includes “Heart for 2” and “Why?”, the latter that member Jung Heechul participated in composing and writing.
Congratulations to ZE:A for this accomplishment.

ZE:A revealed earlier that when they were shooting the MV for “Watch Out“, they aimed to have as much fun as possible in order to bring an authentic energy to the video.
It looks like the boys definitely had a blast on set, as they were documented inhaling helium from balloons. They ran around the set, talking in high-pitched voices and laughing over how ridiculous they sounded. Check out the video clip below!

11 July:

ZE:A’s comic version of “Watch Out” brings out the joy in viewers.
The comical version of “Watch Out” is titled, “The Frantic Movie“, and was filmed back on June 26th while shooting the actual music video. The compilation of both shoots took 3 days and 2 nights straight without any breaks in between. This wild version was created by ZE:A in order to entertain the weary staff members.
Unlike the cutesy image shown in the official video, ZE:A acted silly and were goofing around with close friends. They put on mischievous faces, and played pranks on one another portraying childish boys on set.
Kwanghee’s dancing a comical version of popping, and his imitation of a gymnast running hysterically brought out the best reaction and most laughs from the viewers.
Fans who saw the video commented, “I’m having fun just from watching them enjoy themselves“, “From working 3 days 2 nights straight, I understand them acting like that“, “I now laugh from just looking at Kwanghee’s name“.
