You've Fallen for Me

9 August:

MBC has decided that the number of episodes for its teenage melodrama ‘Heartstrings‘, starring Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, will be pared down to 15 episodes instead of the scheduled 16.
Because of Park Shin Hye’s car accident, filming had to be postponed while she was hospitalized for treatment. Consequently, the cast and crew didn’t have enough time to shoot sufficient material, which resulted in a special montage of clips being broadcast in the place of episode 8, thus pushing back all of the remaining episodes by a day.
Instead of lengthening ‘Heartstrings’ by one day, which would’ve caused significant troubles for its follow-up drama, ‘Can’t Live Without Losing‘, MBC has decided that it would cut an episode instead, thereby allowing everything to progress as scheduled.
Meanwhile, ‘Heartstrings’ has been struggling with one-digit ratings, notwithstanding its name-value cast and directing by PD Pyo Min Soo, who also directed the hit ‘Full House‘.

9 July:
MBC’s ‘Heartstrings‘ recently revealed some fun still-cuts of Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye playing the role of ‘master’ and ’slave’.

Park Shin Hye plays the role of ‘Lee Kyu Won’, a girl who agrees to play slave to Yonghwa’s character, ‘Lee Shin’, for a month. One of the first missions he gives her is to deliver a warm cappuccino to him every morning.
Since it costs $2.80, he gives her $3, but she doesn’t have the chance to return his change until he eventually catches on. He orders her to pay him back with interest, and although she tries to work heraegyo on him, it’s to no avail, as he makes her take out her emergency funds to pay him back.
A representative said, “They’re close friends who know a lot about each other so they work in a way that brings out the best in each other. Viewers will be able to see a new change in their relationship as ‘Lee Kyu Won’ begins to develop her feelings towards the cold but lovable ‘Lee Shin’.”

6 July:
On July 6th, still cuts from MBC’s ‘Heartstrings’s campus bicycle date between Lee Shin (played byJung Yonghwa) and Lee Kyu Won (played by Park Shin Hye) were revealed.

In the photos, Park Shin Hye is seen sweetly closing her eyes as she is leaning against Jung Yonghwa’s back.
Jung Yonghwa’s character usually never lets anyone ride on his back seat besides his younger sibling. So viewers are anticipating to find the reason on what led to Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye’s campus bicycle date.
A representative on the set of ‘Heartstrings’ said,
Though this scene was filmed on a weekday, many people gathered to see Jung Yonghwa and Park Shin Hye. The hot response led to a hold on set. It was a time in which we were able to realize the hot interest in the drama’s ‘Dooli couple’.”

Kang Min Hyuk captures the charm that such a deep, intellectual character would possess.
He is steadily gaining more popularity, as many noona fans have been showing up to see him at the set.

In the drama, Jung Yonghwa acted in the role of a character who loved Park Shin Hye. Unfortunately, their love was unsuccessful at the end, with Park Shin Hye falling in love with another character.
Jung Yonghwa has said about his former character, “In the previous drama, I played the role of a daddy-long-legs who always stood behind Park Shin Hye and watched her silently while doing everything for her. As a man, I thought he was a very cool character, but I was disappointed when he kept losing his chances of confessing his love for her.
He added, “This time, I’m somewhat proud that I’m playing the role of Lee Shin, who is a little better at expressing emotions and playing jokes than Lee Kyu Won. I’m very excited and curious as to what stories they’ll make together.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye has stated about her role, “In the previous work, I only got things [from Jung Yonghwa's character] one-sidedly, but this time, I have to tend to Lee Shin as if it were a revenge story of Jung Yonghwa. Please anticipate not only our story, but other characters’ complicated relationships as well.

She continued, “‘Kyu Won’ isn’t actually a gayageum prodigy, but more like someone that’s been deeply influenced by her grandfather. She’s known about it all her life. By meeting ‘Lee Shin’ and ‘Kim Suk Hyun’, she goes through bumps along the way, but through that experience, eventually comes to find what her dream really is.”

CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and actress Park Shin Hye may get a second chance at love!
The two have been asked to star in Producer Pyo Min Soo’s new MBC drama, ‘Festival’, which is planned to air in June.

The staff member explained,  ”The male lead is a band member at school. We couldn’t decide between choosing an actor who could play an instrument or a singer. We offered the role to Jung Yonghwa because he has acted before.
Jung Yonghwa is seriously considering taking the role. His agency FNC Music confirmed that Yonghwa did get the offer, but his conflict lies with CNBLUE’s comeback, slated for the fourth week of March.
Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye’s agency Aba Entertainment said that they liked the story-line. “We think Park Shin Hye can show off her charm by acting as a lively young girl,” said the agency. “The script is funny. The two have already acted together through the 2009 SBS drama, ‘You’re Beautiful’. At that time, Park Shin Hye played ‘Go Minam‘, who fell in love with Jang Geun Suk’s character, ‘Hwang Taekyung‘; however, Jung Yonghwa’s character, ‘Kang Shinwoo‘, loved ‘Go Minam’ intensely.
