Actor No Min Woo and composer Cho Young Soo joined forces to produce “Can I Love You“. “Can I Love You”’s main theme has a piano and guitar sound setting the basis for a lyrical ballad song with No Min Woo’s pure yet mournful vocals.
This single was initially revealed on SBS ‘Midas’’s 20th episode. This song was also used as Yoo Myung Joon’s (No Min Woo) final love confession that he sang to Lee Jung Yeon (Lee Min Jung) before dying.
Fans who heard the song commented, “‘Midas’’s emotions have been accurately delivered” and “I thought he was just good at acting but his singing is excellent too“.

On April 13th, No Min Woo revealed,
“Midas OST’s Yoo Myung Joon theme song ‘Sad Love‘ has been released, over. Confirm, confirm…Yoo Myung Jun is the writter/composer of ‘Sad Love’.”
Since No Min Woo understands the thoughts of his character the best, he was able to deliver great emotion into the song. The lyrics express the love No Min Woo’s character holds for ‘Jung Yeon‘ (played by Lee Min Jung).

2 Maret: The music video for Gummy’s track “I Want To Wait” for SBS’s “Midas” has been released, compiled with clips from the drama. The soundtrack has been climbing the charts, standing its ground amongst Big Bang’s new songs.
“Midas” tells a story about intertwining ambitions, and how they have a big impact on people’s personal lives. Jang Hyuk, Lee Min Jung, and Kim Hee Ae play the main characters of the drama. It has replaced “Athena: the Goddess of War” as the new Mon-Tues drama for SBS.

Titled “You Are My Heaven”, the song will be heard through the first broadcast of “Midas”, airing on February 22nd, and will mark his first step as a singer.
“You Are My Heaven” was composed by Lee Hyun Seung, who also composed Kim Tae Woo’s “Love Rain” and many other hit songs; it will be used in the drama as Kim Hee Ae and Jang Hyuk’s love theme. It’s said that this song will carry an orchestra sound that harmonizes well with Kang Seung Yoon’s improved vocal skills.
On the 21st, Kang Seung Yoon expressed his excitement about the song through his Twitter: ”I feel as though this gave me a chance to change myself. I’m still lacking in my skills, but I tried my hardest, so please listen to it happily!”
The “Midas” OST will be available on the 23rd through various music sites.
