Clara will also be revealing unreleased songs off her 2nd album, slated for a release date in fall of 2012.

Clara C has just announced her first cover contest! All fans have to do is cover one of her songs “Offbeat“, “Heart Strings“, or “The Camel Song“. The contest itself is sponsored by YesStyle.comand 1964 Ears. Prizes will range from a free trip to Los Angeles, YesStyle gift cards and in ear monitors from 1964 Ears. Clara C, the talented acoustic pop singer, has debuted her new song “Fish” on the live show, ‘What’s Trending‘!
While on the show, Clara C took part in a short interview, revealing how she became a singer and why she started uploading videos on YouTube. Despite her busy tour schedule, Clara C showed no signs of fatigue and she blew the audience away with her amazing “ultimate love song” performance.
“Fish” will be the first song on Clara C’s sophomore album, which is scheduled for release in 2012, so be sure to check back with allkpop for more updates!

Clara C has just revealed an exciting announcement — the sweet acoustic pop singer will be hitting up Southeast Asia and Australia for a debut tour!
After she completes her “Shakin Off Silence 2011” tour in Canada and the U.S., Clara C will take off for Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Australia to hold concerts from November 28th to December 3rd.
Clara C has also shared a special “love essay” for her fans, thanking them for all their support. A portion of her letter reads:
I can’t think of a less cheesy way to put it, so I’m going full quesadilla on this one: Thank you SO much for breathing life into my dream. It is 100% thanks to you. If you’ve been to my live shows, you’ll know I always hold a meet & greet and I don’t rest until I’ve met every one of you, even when there are thousands in the crowd.Having done that, I can confidently say that my fans are THE sweetest, kindest, most quality people an artist could ever wish to have in their cheering section. When I feel low, I go straight to my fanmail and it genuinely lifts me up. I give you music, you give me love that fuels me to give you more music which makes you give me love which–YEAH. We’ve got this back-scratching thing down! =)

Sweet acoustic pop sensation Clara C has just announced that she’ll be embarking on a new tour called ‘Shakin Off Silence 2011‘!
Clara will be touring through seven cities within the United States and Canada to promote her debut album, “The Art In My Heart“. Not only will she be touring with Seattle-based rock band New Heights, who will be opening for Clara at each city, but she’ll also be revealing unreleased songs from her second album, which is slated for release in summer of 2012.
As the winner of ’Los Angeles Kollaboration 10′, ‘KAC Media Juice Night‘, and ‘ISA 2009‘, Clara C quickly became a phenomenon amidst the myriad of gifted Asian American singers/songwriters.
Possessing a voice that’s both sweet and soothing, Clara also holds substantial composing talent, as she created most of her songs and knows how to handle multiple instruments.

A few days back, Clara C unveiled an intriguing teaser for her new music video, “The Camel Song“.
At the time, fans were given a look at a dolly setup in front of a white length of paper with a video camera being led down a track. But with the music video now released, we can start to unravel the mystery behind the teaser.
Clara C’s new video paints a story (literally) about how a great love came to an end. Utilizing a canvas that stretches across the room, Clara and Ryan Higa are portrayed as the couple in love, leaping and frolicking their way through painted hills and streams. The video also holds some vintage Super 8-looking shots of the couple, as well as pretty shots of the singer herself.

We’ve been missing some Clara C in our lives, and so we’re excited to announce that she’ll be releasing a new MV on August 8th!
A teaser was just revealed for “The Camel Song“, and it gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of her music video. Clara C herself tweeted, “The Camel Song Teaser video!! Music video for The Camel Song will be released August 8th!! Can anyone guess…“.
“Camel Song” is a track expressing a one’s plea for their lover to stay and “keep holding on”.
There’s a sense of longing for the good times, and the sorrow in the lyrics becomes substantiated through Clara C’s soft voice.

A couple weeks ago, Clara C revealed a music video trailer for “Heartstrings” from her debut album, “Art in My Heart“. Just moments ago, the full music video for “Heartstrings”, starring Clara C andJoseph Vincent, was revealed!
The music video tells the story of a girl and boy who live on different planets. As the guy (Joseph Vincent) fails to come up with a way for them to meet, the girl (Clara C) comes up with a solution of her own. Though Joseph Vincent does not feature in the song itself, he has collaborated with Clara C in the past.
The cute and fantasy-like music video perfectly accompanies Clara C’s sweet and smooth vocals.

To the excitement of her many fans, Clara C has revealed a new music video trailer for her original song “Heartstrings“.
The clip definitely makes everyone anticipate the full release as it has a soothing guitar playing in the background and depicts Clara C staring up into what looks like the galaxy with its many bright stars and colors. Her attention is caught by a particularly bright light so she peeks through a telescope to see a man signaling to her using a mirror and his own telescope. It appears that he is on another planet but wants to fly to her, even if it means using a dangerous jet pack. The teaser definitely suggests a cute and romantic story to accompany her song.
The full-length video will be revealed through her official Youtube channel later this month, so make sure to keep an eye out for it. For now, watch the trailer below!

31 Maret:Clara C collaborated with Joseph Vincent for their cover of “Rhythm of Love“. On March 30th, Clara C released yet another collaboration, only this time it’s with Jake Bruene (vocals/guitar),Kurt Hugo Schneider (piano), and Kevin Olusola (cello).
Clara C recorded this cover of ”Don’t You Wanna Stay” (originally by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson) during her recent visit to Yale University.
