On February 10th, Se7en will be holding a fan signing event at the Yeongdeungpo-gu Time Square to meet his fans.
Se7en’s title track for his new mini-album, “When I Can’t Sing“, hit number one on various charts as soon as its release and proved his timeless worth. On February 5th, Se7en performed his comeback stage for SBS ‘Inkigayo’ and showcased a special performance, receiving widely positive feedback from viewers, netizens and fans.
Se7en put in a special effort for the new album as his personally programmed a promotion called “LUCKY DAYZ”. “LUCKY DAYZ” is a line up of various events for Se7en to reach his fans, and on last Sunday, Se7en went on a movie date with his fans as a part of the promotion program. This particular fan signing event was also requested by Se7en as for him to reach his fans a bit closer.
Se7en’s “LUCKY DAYZ” events will be continuing. On February 17th, Se7en will be traveling to Busan to meet his fans in the South and spend quality time.
Se7en posted on his me2day, “It’s decided! This time I will be traveling to meet you in Busan~ I want to meet as many people as possible and say hello, but I hope you understand… Understand~ I think I’ll be reaching you next Friday with a fan signing event! In his photos, Se7en proudly showed off the delectable goodies and carefully crafted gifts from his ‘Lucky 7′ fan club. Netizens identified candy bars, Vitamin Water, a blanket, a message book, a gift set from Chanel, and more.

Se7en has been away from the industry for quite some time now, which means that fan events were far and few between. To make up for that, he’s just announced a special event titled, ”Se7en’s Lucky Dayz Project No.1“!
For this event, 55 fans will score tickets to enjoy a movie date with Se7en.
In order to participate, fans must retweet the announcement of the event on @officialse7en on Twitter, or write a comment on the me2day post about this event at meday.net/se7enyg. Afterwards, fans must send their name and contact info to luckyse7en@gmail.com.
Submissions will be collected starting from February 2nd to the 3rd, and the winners will be announced on the 4th for the movie date on the 5th.
For those interested, go enter! However, you should be sure that you will be able to attend the event before you enter.

On February 1st, the singer posted the photo above via his official me2day page and wrote, “All of you who I know will continue to stay by my side even when I can’t sing, how did you enjoy the album I worked so hard to put together for you? I am thinking of different songs and MVs that will appeal to you guys, but also fun events that we can partake in together. Please look forward to it!”
The singer took four different poses in the photos, seemingly deep in thought about how to repay his fans for all the love and support they have been showing him.
Fans seemed to have some suggestions as they wrote, “Independent concert“, “Please update us with news like this more often“, “How about a nationwide fan meet and greet?”, and more.

With the help of fellow artist, Big Bang‘s Taeyang, Se7en made his comeback in Japan after 4 long years.
Collaborating with YG‘s star producer Teddy, Taeyang helped produce and write Se7en’s new single, ‘Somebody Else‘ – lending Se7en a hand for his recent come back.
Although Taeyang has been receiving recognition as a singer-songwriter ever since his solo album, he has never produced a song for another artist – making ‘Somebody Else’ the first song he has produced for someone else. Through this beautifully written R&B song, Taeyang brought out Se7en’s unique style.
YG Entertainment told StyleNews on January 19th, “Se7en is currently in Japan promoting for his new single. He will be handling a busy schedule of TV programs and interviews with magazines, and will also meet with Japanese fans.
‘Somebody Else’ has already been garnering much interest in Japan as it placed #1 on the Tower Records Pre-Sale Chart a day before its release.
18 January:
Se7en tweeted, “D-DAY!!! Se7en Japan new album [SOMEBODY ELSE] Released!!! On sale today!!! Please listen to it a lot!!! PEACE~!!”.
In the picture, Se7en held up the three different editions for his mini-album. He later posted another photo saying, “I also bought a copy~~!!! HAHAHA~~”.
18 December:
On December 18th, he expressed his anticipation for his new Japanese single release by writing, “I fell asleep right after I came home and just woke up now. Agh, I really want sleep to come fast!”
He added, “I can’t sleep, so I’m listening to the new songs for my Japanese single! Ah, I sang this… I know it’s my own voice… but why is it so sweet. It’s such a good song to listen to right before bed ^^ ‘UNDERSTAND‘ 01.18 release!”
Se7en will be making his return to the Japanese music market for the first time in years through his single, “Somebody Else“.

Se7en will soon break his four-year hiatus from the Japanese music industry with a digital single called “Angel“.
On November 6th, Se7en held a fan meeting with 3,000 people at the Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo, during which he thanked his fans for their patience.
Se7en explained that “Angel” was inspired by his feelings of gratitude, and that he wanted to present something as a gift to those who waited for his return. “These past four years have felt so long for me, but I think it felt even longer for the fans. It’d be wonderful if I could meet with you all more often from now on,” he said.
He continued, “This coming January, I will release a new mini-album. In order to show you a variety of sides, I plan to include songs of many different styles.”
On a related note, Se7en will be taking the stage at the ’15th Anniversary YG Family Concert’ in December and January that will be held in both Korea and Japan.
4 October:
A spokesperson for YG Entertainment on the 4th stated via telephone, “Se7en is scheduled to release his album in early January of 2012. Additionally, next month in November, he will be unleashing his digital single album in Japan.”
It was also discovered that Se7en’s highly anticipated new album was originally scheduled to be released in November of this year but circumstances led to pushing the comeback date back to January of 2012.
Mainly due to Se7en being busy with his new chicken restaurant and his Japanese album work being done in Korea, it was decided that it would be best to push back the date allowing him to have some space to breathe before his comeback.
While being away from the Kpop scene for a year, Se7en recently made an appearance at the ‘2011 Hallyu Dream Concert’. On that day he performed his hits such as ‘Better Together’ and ‘Digital Bounce’ with an energy and charisma never seen before.

On October 3rd, Se7en posted via Twitter, “Arrived in Korea! Going straight to Gyeongju from the airport. I should get some sleep hehe”, with the above photo attached.
In the photo, Se7en is wearing a Rilakkuma hat + neck rest, while making a V with his fingers. He flaunted his cuteness with a smile at the camera, as well.

Speaking through Star News, representatives of YG Entertainment revealed, “Se7en will be releasing a new mini-album in Japan by the end of the year, and will kick off his promotions. Since it will be his first time back in a while, he is working very hard on his preparations.”
Se7en last released a Japanese work in 2007, and has since been in a hiatus from the market. He’ll be joined by labelmates 2NE1, GD&TOP, and Gummy, who are all preparing (or are already embarking) on promotions in Japan.
As expected, ‘YGEX‘ will be backing Se7en’s comeback.
6 August:
The star wrote, “Posting this up because everyone said I looked tired and haggard! Trying a selca again with a cuteness that’s on par with my four year old nephew!”

Looking as youthful as ever, Se7en shows that he’s not as “tired and haggard” as everyone believes. He also showcased his innocent charm next to his adorable nephew.

17 April:
This is the second time Se7en has renewed his contract under the agency, as he had done the same back in 2006 without a deposit.
Yang Hyun Suk emphasized, “We’re a family. As hard as it is to enter YG Entertainment, once you get in, we do our best until the end. I am extremely thankful to both Se7en and Big Bang for choosing us once again.”
The producer went on to reveal that he had told the members time and time again to speak up whenever they had any problems either with their careers or their personal lives. The members would often go to him with a collected opinion and he would work his best to accommodate them.
Se7en’s decision for renewing, however, is to “set ablaze the last moment of his youth with YG before he enters the military.” Yang went on to say, “For Se7en, we have a lot of projects lined up, like international promotions and movie appearances.”
He emphasized again, “My opinion also remains the same on not allowing my artists onto music programs and concerts that are not capable of satisfying or bringing out the talent of my artists. This opinion will never change.”
Big Bang and Se7en also renewed their contracts for the staff members that they had grown up working with. From top composers like Teddy, to video managers and stylists, they revealed that they were more than satisfied with working with the best of the best of the industry.

After celebrating his 8th career anniversary back on March 22nd, Se7en has decided that he will be touring overseas to meet with his fans.
YG Entertainment announced, “Se7en has already visited China and Thailand in the past. Se7en is now scheduled to head for Singapore and Malaysia in April. He will make local television appearances, attend a variety of events, and chat with his closest fans.”
Se7en made his debut back in 2003 with his album “Just Listen” which took the Korean music industry by storm. He plans to expand his popularity once more by making stops overseas.

On March 22nd, Se7en wrote on his twitter, “March 22, 2003. Today is the 8th Anniversary of Se7en’s debut. Even though it’s my 9th year as a singer, I still feel like I’m a rookie, and I want to thank everyone for giving me so much love throughout the years. I promise that I will make better music and show you better stages in the future. I want to thank everyone who has congratulated me. I love you all.”
Se7en continued, “A beautiful 8th Anniversary cake that fans made for me. Thank you so much! Even though I took a picture with my ps. 7 pose, because I’m getting older this seems a bit…”
Se7en debuted in 2003 with his first album “Just Listen“, and his song “Come Back To Me” caused a big rollerskate craze. His handstand dance move has also become widely known. After his American debut in 2007, Se7en recently came back to the Korean music industry after 3 years.
