The three appeared at a press conference for the Monday-Tuesday KBS 2TV drama ‘Big‘ on May 29. Gong Yoo stated, “I haven’t filmed with Suzy very much yet. We’ve finally filmed one scene together, and I feel like acting [with her] is cleansing. When I looked into her eyes, I felt I was being purified.”
He also commented on his co-star Lee Min Jung: “The first impression I had of Lee Min Jung was that she was someone who would lift your spirits. We’ve crossed paths at an advertisement shoot and didn’t talk much, but this time around, it was really casual between us. That’s why we got friendly quickly, and it was more comfortable acting together. I wish she was a bit reserved because she’s very easygoing.”
Lee Min Jung joked in response, “[Gong Yoo] is unexpectedly funny. Because of Gong Yoo sunbaenim’s dandy, neat, and tidy public image, I thought, ‘Maybe he has OCD’… In reality, he’s actually pretty messy.”
The first episode of ‘Big’ airs June 4 at 9:55PM on KBS 2TV.
