Dongjun from idol group ZE:A selected SNSD‘s Taeyeon as his ideal woman.

A press conference for ‘STAR DATE with ZE:A in BRAZIL’ was held at AX-Korea on the 26th, and each of the members revealed their ideal types.

Dongjun picked Taeyeon, admitting that he had been a fan of hers even before he made his debut as a singer. His fellow members confirmed that Dongjun really did like Taeyeon, gaining interest from fans.

Meanwhile, ‘STAR DATE with ZE:A in BRAZIL’ is a program which will air through ArirangTV. On the show, Dongjun and Kevin will travel Brazil with the local fans and even go on dates in order to spread K-pop awareness.

A picture of ZE:A’s Dongjun has been cracking up netizens, thanks to his striking resemblance to actress Han Ga In.

Dongjun wore a long, wavy wig with a red beret while holding up her picture for comparison. It appears that he even placed a beauty mark on his nose to match hers!

Netizens responded with, “They really look the same,” “Han Ga In’s younger brother?” and, “Which one is Han Ga In?”

Misfortunes seem to consistently dog ZE:A, for following Kevin’s forced absence from his group’s promotions, member Dongjun has now revealed that there were problems with his vocal cords.

Dongjun revealed that he wasn’t able to sing as well as he usually would, and that he later began feeling pain. After visiting a hospital and receiving an examination, doctors revealed that blood was welling up around his vocal cords and that he was showing signs of developing vocal cord nodules.

A representative of Star Empire stated, “Dongjun has been practicing harder than ever for this album’s comeback. He has the high note part in ‘Watch Out!!!‘, so he has been practicing constantly to pull off a perfect live, which we believe has affected his throat.”

ZE:A is currently scheduled to begin their follow-up promotions on July 28th, but with Kevin absent and Dongjun facing an impediment, plans are currently up in the air.

The representative continued, “Kevin is resting, and Dongjun is visiting the hospital consistently for treatment. We asked that he hold back during rehearsals since doctors said that he cannot strain his throat. Still, he is determined to stand on stage, so he is learning how to sing without straining his voice with his vocal trainer. Their follow-up track also requires less of Dongjun, but we will have to see for now.”

Dongjun recently posed for a cute picture with child actress Seo Shin Ae.

On April 26th, the idol wrote on his me2day, “Cute brother and sister’s exciting story!! 2011.04.28 the first performance of ‘Aladdin‘ starts!! A fun story with ‘Dong-laddin’~ Coming soon! Maknae line’s power!! Please anticipate ‘Dong-laddin’~ 2 days before the performance!!“.

The picture was taken during a poster photoshoot for ‘Aladdin’, which is also Dongjun’s first musical.

Reflecting over his theatrical project, Dongjun stated, “It’s my first musical so I was very nervous and prepared very hard. I went back to my childhood days by singing, acting, and dancing and [shaped my own] Aladdin. I want to capture Dong-laddin’s charms in a more fun way. Please anticipate my performance.”

Netizens commented, “Dong-laddin!! You two are so cute”, “You two look like real brother and sister”, “I hope the first performance is a hit!“.

‘Aladdin’ is running from April 28th to May 5th in the Sejong Cultural Center for Performing Arts. Dongjun will play ‘Aladdin’ and Seo Shin Ae will play Aladdin’s younger sister, ‘Lana’.

Kim Dong Joon (19) akan debut sebagai aktor.
Dong Joon akan berperan sebagai Oh Ji Hoon, murid yang memiliki grade sama dengan karakter perempuan utama, Baeksul, yang diperankan oleh Jung Eun Chae, dalam KBS Chinese New Year special drama, ‘Crossing the Youngdo Bridge’. Ji Hoon, memiliki bright personality, selalu berada dekat dengan Baeksul dan mendengarkan semua masalahnya.
Crew drama menyatakan, “We casted Kim Dong Joon because we thought he would be able to showcase natural Busan dialect since the drama is set in Busan. When we went into filming, his acting was up to our standards, so the reactions were good.”
Kim Dong Joon menyatakan, “I felt regretful for not showing all of what I practiced when I first stood in front of the camera. I felt that I was getting better as time passed, and when the people around me said that I was like Ji Hoon, it was fun to feel that I was being another me.”
