Ricky Kim is was going to be a father in February, and on February 10th, he announced on Twitter that his wife, the music actress Ryu Seung Joo, has recently given birth to a baby girl.The actor is currently a castmember on KBS’s Dream Team and is well-known for his roles in Athena, Heading to the Ground and D-War.

Ricky Kim akan menjadi ayah.. Kim menikahi musical actress Ryu Seung Joo tahun 2009, dan dalam masa kehamilan pertama. Bayinya diperkirakan lahir bulan depan. Kim menyatakan, “I’m still so young, but being able to be a father feels just like a dream. I’ve always dreamed of starting a family and becoming a father, but to have that dream realized is really amazing. I put my hand on my wife’s belly and try to communicate with the child. The child sometimes even kicks me with his foot, it’s very cool.”
Saat ditanya ‘tae-myung’ (nama sementara yang diberikan kepada anak sebelum lahir) yang mereka pilih, ia menjawab, “The baby is a gift from the sky, so we call the baby ‘Sky.’ My wife is taking a break from her career and focusing on prenatal education. What’s cool is that my brother’s child is expected to be born on the same date as us.”
Ricky Kim sedang filming untuk KBS “Dream Team“, dan juga berbagai drama lain.
