Co-Ed‘s male unit, SPEED, will not consist of six members, but seven!

On February 17th, Core Contents Media revealed through Star News that SPEED has now become a seven-member unit. “After the addition of SPEED’s new member, Park Saejoon, they will promote as a seven-member group.”

The agency went on to introduce Saejoon to the public, saying, “Saejoon is in his last year of high school. He has thick eyebrows and defined facial features, and also possesses good looks… Core Contents Media’s CEO Kim Kwang Soo, praised Saejoon as the second Song Seung Hun.”

SPEED will now be made up of members Taewoon, Kwangheng, Jungwoo, In Oh (Noori), Sungmin, Jongkook, and Saejoon.

With the addition of the new member, the unit will be transferring from Core Contents Media to GM Contents Media. Their new agency, GM Contents Media, is headed by Kwon Shi Bong, who has worked in the management field with Kim Kwang Soo for the past 10 years.

Core Contents Media’s Kim Kwang Soo stated, “I will remain as SPEED’s music producer and give them my help.”

Co-Ed‘s male sub-unit, SPEED, has finally made their debut with two music videos for ”Lovey Dovey Plus“.

Co-Ed, an idol group from Core Contents Media that’s comprised of both male and female members, had debuted their female sub-unit ‘5dolls‘ earlier last year — now its time for their male counterparts to stand in the spotlight.

The name ‘SPEED’ stands for the group’s determination to always run forward with undying energy. The group is made up of Taewoon, Jungwoo, Kwanghaeng, Sungmin, In Oh and new member Jongguk from ’Superstar K3‘.

As reported earlier, SPEED’s music videos feature cameos from twins Hwayoung (T-ara) andHyoyoung (Co-Ed). Dressed in crisp black suits, SPEED aims to show a more masculine twist for their remake of T-ara’s hit song”Lovey Dovey“.

Co-Ed will soon be debuting their male sub-unit, ‘SPEED‘, and to kick off their promotions, they’ve revealed this teaser image featuring T-ara‘s Hwayoung and Co-Ed’s Hyoyoung.

As reported earlier, the twins will be supporting SPEED’s debut by featuring in their music video for “Lovey Dovey Plus“, a twist on T-ara’s mega-hit “Lovey Dovey“. In their photo, the sisters channel the sleek look of Michael Jackson‘s “Billie Jean“, leading fans to wonder how “Lovey Dovey Plus” will differ from the cowbell-disco sounds of the original.

The boys will be releasing their single on February 9th, followed by the full music video on the 10th.
