Having been promoting their repackaged album “Before U Go” for the past month, the TVXQ boys have wrapped up promotions with a goodbye stage on this afternoon’s episode of MBC’s Music Core.
“Before U Go” is a traditional R&B track with heavy emotions, where Yunho and Changmin’s vocals were put at center focus. The song is unique in that it moves not only according to melody, but rhythm is well. The song switches back and forth between an 8-beat and 32-beat vocal rhythm.
Check out the performance of that song once again together with “Keep Your Head Down” one last time.

After a long absence, f(x) is finally back with their brand new first studio album, “Pinocchio” and starting promotions once again on tonight’s MBC’s Music Core.
Their electronic pop dance track features a powerful yet restricted beat with a unique guitar sound that brings out the diversity in f(x)’s voices. Their lyrics also add an interesting element to the performance in that it compares the process of getting to know their crush to the process of constructing their own Pinocchio doll. Cube Entertainment’s new family member, ‘A Pink’, finally made their debut on today’s episode of MBC’s “Music Core“!
Comprised of seven members, the girls utilized their innocent and sweet looks to recreate the elf-like image their seniors S.E.S. and Fin.K.L. were famous for back in the 90s. Although their concept may seem simple upon first glance, the girls make up for it in talent.
Their title track, “I Don’t Know“, was composed by hitmaker Super Changddai and features a classic melody unlike other idol music in the market. With their smooth vocals and cute choreography points, the girls are definitely rushing into the spring season with this sweet track.

After melting the hearts of fans with their unique webtoons marketing style, WM Entertainment’s newest boyband, ‘B1A4‘, has finally made their debut on today’s episode of “Music Core“!
Their unique name is an abbreviation of ‘Be the one, All for one’, and also stands for Baro being type B blood, while Jinyoung, CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan being type A.
Their title track, “OK“, is an electronic track using rock as its base to feature the powerful and refreshing vocals of B1A4. With a catchy hook like, “Everything’s OK as long as I have you”, and an addictive melody to boot, the group seems to have what it takes work their way up to ‘becoming the ultimate’.

Solo singer NS Yoon Ji has made her adorable return with her second single, “Talk Talk Talk“, on today’s episode of “Music Core“!
Shedding the sexy image she’s known for, NS Yoon Ji has returned with a concept fit for the spring season. Her title track, produced by Rhymer (Mighty Mouth’s “Tok Tok“, Seo In Kook’s “Broken“), and written by rookie Choi Min Shik, features an upbeat synth pop rhythm.
With lyrics about a woman’s modern yet funny love story, the song transitions into a more exciting beat towards the chorus with a sweeter melody line to bring out the meaning of the lyrics.
