Strong Heart Part 2

2 November:

During a recent recording of the popular variety show ‘Strong Heart’, SNSD member Jessica revealed a shocking story of an incident with a stalker.
She stated,
“One day after a late dinner with friends, I was returning to our dorm apartment from a taxi and there was a suspicious man with an umbrella standing outside. I thought he was someone who lived in the same complex, but I knew something wasn’t right.”
She continued,
“I told my friends to go on ahead and pressed the code to go into the dormitory. I lived on the third floor, but the elevator was on the sixth, so I decided to walk up the stairs. I had weird feeling so I turned around, and  saw that an umbrella was stuck between the glass door to bypass the password protection. He was able to open the door and come in. I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could, but heard his footsteps following right behind me. I thought maybe that person also lived on the third floor or maybe the fourth. His footsteps became faster, so I ran to the dorm.
Once I got inside, I heard the man trying to yank open our door. I stayed in there quietly with the lights off and checked my phone. My friends had called me a number of times. When I called them back, they had told me the taxi driver that dropped me off told them there was something suspicious about the guy they had seen standing outside. So they had called to check up on me. I told them what happened, and my friends arrived to the dorm and the man fled. Later when I talked to other SNSD members about it, they told me that they had also seen a guy with an umbrella standing outside the building a few days before as well.”

Have you all seen his forehead before? You haven’t right? I wanted to change his hairstyle that day so when the camera wasn’t rolling, I lifted up all of his hair.”
“When I saw his forehead, I became so shocked. I thought his forehead was like Lady Gaga‘s or something. His forehead comes this far out like some dinosaur“, as he motioned with his hands on his own forehead.
Eun Ji Won laughed, “What’s even funnier is that when I lifted his hair, Seung Gi said ‘No hyung, please don’t do that’ in such a small voice.” c
Lee Seung Gi hilariously replied with, “My forehead size differs in different conditions, but it’s definitely still growing.”

However, he was crestfallen as Boom promptly announced, “Thanks for tuning in to ‘a corner within a corner’,” drawing laughs from those present.

The conversation soon turned to the ‘Monday Couple’, and Gary was asked by MC Lee Seung Gi if he was actually close enough to the actress to use special names for each other. “Everyone’s close friends on ‘Running Man’,” Gary answered truthfully. “At first, I was worried that it would harm her image and I discussed it with the producers, but I was thankful since she was so open to it,” he continued.

In response, the cast asked the prerequisite question, “Are you two real?” to which Gary answered,“That’s right. We loved each other. Let’s just end it there,” drawing a second round of laughter from the audience.

INFINITE‘s Woohyun guested on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart’ and revealed the real story behind his tears during their emotional 1st win on a music program.
Woohyun first caught the attention of the MCs, Lee Seung Gi and Kang Ho Dong, with the title of his story, ‘Be My House” (a spin off the title of their hit song, “Be Mine”). He shocked everyone on the set when he revealed that the dorm they had lived in since their trainee days had actually been the home of the CEO of Woollim Entertainment. Even though the house may have been big enough for the CEO at the time, the CEO then brought in 12 trainees to live with him, which at one point brought the total up to 13 people living under one roof.
Woohyun revealed that the house was far from luxurious like one would think, with it being the home of the CEO of an entertainment company. There was no front entry way so even if they opened the door slightly, fans could peek into the whole house, which caused some problems when the members would be walking around in their underwear. Woohyun also revealed problems they would face with various weather conditions such as the heater breaking down, or rain seeping into the house and causing the wall paper to peel and pieces of cement to come off.
The CEO negotiated with the members that he would change their dorms if they were able to place top 3 in a music program with “Be Mine”. Woohyun stated, “But when we came back, we had to face off against sunbaes like T-ara, 2NE1, miss A, and Super Junior. Really tough competition… so we wondered if we could really place in the top 3. But finally last week, we achieved 1st place!! We were so incredibly happy and ended up sobbing uncontrollably on stage.”
Woohyun couldn’t hold back his excitement as he revealed some details about their new dorm, “From what I heard, we have marble floors in the living room, there are two bathrooms, there’s an elevator, and there’s even a front door man and security guard who can receive our packages for us!!” – causing everyone on set to cheer.
To bring a close to his talk segment, Woohyun held a special dance stage as a member of the 2nd generation of ‘Boom Academy’, with the current members Boom, Leeteuk, and Eunhyuk.

Boom also revealed his pick for the 2nd generation of ‘Boom Academy’, stating, “Boom Academy has our 1st generation, but we don’t have a 2nd or 3rd generation yet. 31 August:
On the August 30th episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun shared stories from his early days as a member of Super Junior.

Kyuhyun began, “I wasn’t a trainee for very long. I had trained for about 2 months when I became a member of Super Junior.”
He explained that when he joined the group, Super Junior was a rookie group who had debuted only 6 months ago, and already had 12 members. It was hard enough to receive adequate screen time when there were 12 members, so Kyuhyun had feared that the members would dislike him for joining the group.
He continued, “On my second day at the agency, I ran into the Super Junior members, who were said to be so busy that people were seldom able to catch a glimpse of them. I was so nervous that I just slightly nodded my head and said ‘Hello’, but Leeteuk-hyung coldly replied, ‘Excuse me, but that’s not how you greet someone’. Of course, at the time I had made a mistake, but the members seemed to dislike me from the beginning.”
Kyuhyun shocked the cast members when he added, “When I joined Super Junior and moved into the dorm, all the members each had their own bed except for me. They told me just to sleep anywhere, so I ended up sleeping in a sleeping bag next to Yesung’s bed for a month, between Donghae andSungmin’s beds for a month, and so on for about 9 months.
Kyuhyun also shared a story of how Leeteuk had told him to cook some ramen for the members, but since he had to prepare enough ramen for 13 people, he accidentally used too much water. Seeing this, Leeteuk had angrily scolded Kyuhyun while throwing his chopsticks aside.

Ryeowook later recalled an episode involving Kyuhyun and said, “We have a rule saying that you cannot be drunk inside the dorm, but one day Kyuhyun consumed an entire bottle of soju before returning back home. He then came to lie down on my bed and said, ‘Ryeowook, I’m so tired,’ while shedding tears.”
He continued, “I was also going through a tough time, so I asked him, ‘Why? Because of who? I think I’ll be able to understand you,’ to which Kyuhyun replied, ‘Leeteuk-hyung…’, and then drifted off to sleep.
However, despite the obstacles he had to face in his earlier Super Junior days, Kyuhyun expressed the high level of respect and love he now holds for his group’s leader. When Super Junior won their first award, all the members shed tears of joy, but Kyuhyun forced himself to hold back his tears, thinking that he had no right to cry for this achievement.

He stated, “The members continued to cry once we returned to the waiting room, and I truly wanted to cry along with them.” But once Leeteuk looked up to see Kyuhyun standing awkwardly amongst the other members, he came over to give him a warm embrace and said, “You worked hard too, Kyuhyun“.

With these words, all the tears Kyuhyun had been holding back came rushing out, and all the wounds from Leeteuk’s cold scoldings in the past were washed away. He added that after this experience, he felt like he had finally been accepted as a member of Super Junior.

Leeteuk responded to these stories by saying, “It’s because we have a strong foundation of faith and trust in each other that we are able to share stories like these. I think that’s how comfortable we feel around each other now“, impressing viewers with his wise words.

On the August 30th episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior’s leader Leeteukrevealed the hidden stories behind Super Junior’s debut.
When the younger members of the group, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook, revealed that Leeteuk treated a little less than kindly when they first joined the group, Leeteuk responded to their stories by saying, “If the members were uncomfortable with each other, we wouldn’t be able to talk about these sensitive stories. There is also a reason I was a bit harsh towards Kyuhyun and Ryeowook.
Leeteuk revealed, “When we first debuted, Super Junior was actually a project group. We were to promote our group for exactly 3 months and then disband. It was a new marketing idea, in which the group would serve as a gateway to rookie debuts, and that the members would continuously rotate out of the group to follow their own paths.
He continued, “When we debuted in 2005, ‘Super Junior 05′ was written on our album, which meant that we were to promote only during the year 2005. Thinking of how I had spent the last 7 years as a trainee, I performed on every stage as if it were my last.”
But all the hard work the members of Super Junior put into the group finally paid off, and with Kyuhyun joining as the final member, Super Junior was able to become an official group.

30 August:
Super Junior’s Yesung made a tearful confession about his father on the most recent broadcast ofSBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘. He stated, “To be honest, I didn’t like my father when I was a child. He was always strict, and we rarely talked. Our relationship was so distant that I sometimes wondered if I had any attachment towards my father.”

Yesung went on, “Our relationship is really similar to the relationship Choi Minsoo’s character had with his father in the drama, ‘Sandglass‘. That’s how scary my father was, and because both my parents worked, our time together was scarce. When I came to Seoul to become a singer, they were against it, and they didn’t even like the fact that I listened to music.”
The singer felt very choked up as he expressed his emotions, and he stopped to gain composure. He went on to say, “Three years ago, I suddenly had 50 missed calls. My father was badly hurt… and he needed a blood transfusion. I left during a recording, and I thought about a lot of things as I went over to my father. Three of his fingers had gotten caught in a machine, and it began to suck my father in. It happened during a night shift so no one could hear him, and he said he was unable to scream. That’s when I kept thinking how frustrating it must’ve been.”
“After that incident, I decided that I should go try to connect with my father first. I thought that our family should have time together. Because of this, I moved my family to Seoul, and I set up a coffee shop for my father.”
When the hosts asked him how his father was currently, Yesung answered, “He doesn’t have much balance. I think it’s because he was badly hurt. He can’t close his fingers or use his left hand.” Yesung also expressed how happy he was with their relationship now, stating,  “Now, my father is like an older brother to me. I never knew how innocent and cute my father was. I’m really happy now.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk had his ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ personality exposed by his fellow members on the latest broadcast of SBS’s “Strong Heart“! This episode featured appearances from Leeteuk, Heechul,SiwonRyeowookYesungKyuhyunSungminDonghaeEunhyuk, and Shindong.

Donghae began, “As the leader, Leeteuk stepped up and said that he’d directly tell the manager our complaints. However, Heechul went up first and came to tell Leeteuk, ‘It’s your turn next,’ but Leeteuk said that he didn’t know anymore and washed his hands of the issue. He turned Heechul and the other members into the bad guys.
Shindong continued “At an overseas shooting, Sungmin and Eunhyuk jokingly teased Leeteuk, but after a little while, Leeteuk’s mood suddenly changed and he told them to stop. Leeteuk gave Sungmin, Eunhyuk, and I an evil glare, and then grabbed Eunhyuk’s neck.” Shindong then gestured grabbing a neck, which caused the audience to laugh uproariously.
Leeteuk cheekily responded, “Shindong is too big and Sungmin learned martial arts, so a skinny person like Eunhyuk was the easiest to grab.
Other double personality stories about Leeteuk were also told by Siwon, Yesung, Eunhyuk, and Heechul.

24 August:
Super Junior’s youngest member, Kyuhyun leaked out a little secret that some Super Junior members are possibly in a relationship.

On the August 23rd episode of SBS’s Strong Heart‘, MC Kang Ho Dong suddenly asked the eldest Super Junior member, Kim Heechul, “How many Super Junior members came out today?
Kim Heechul then answered, “In total, 10 members came out today“, afterwards Kang Ho Dong quickly asked, “How many are currently dating out of those 10?

Kim Heechul was visibly tense and started looking around awkwardly at his members making the audience even more suspicious. Shortly After, Kyuhyun admitted, “From what I know for sure, less than half of the members are dating“. Even though there is still a chance that none of the members are dating since he pointed out specifically ‘less than half‘, the studio was filled with a mysterious vibe. The other cast members shouted with certainty at Super Junior, “So there are some who are dating“!
Choi Siwon and Donghae seemed the most suspicious as Siwon awkwardly looked away and Donghae started drinking his water rapidly.
Kim Heechul jokingly added, “Actually, before we came on the set, some members revealed to me that they broke up with their girlfriends that I never knew about” increasing the viewer’s curiosity.

On August 23rd, ten members of Super Junior guested on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ and ranked each other according to their looks.

The group unanimously agreed on Choi Siwon being #1.
They explained, “The absolute #1 is Choi Siwon. He has looks that all of the members acknowledge. It’s actually the bottom half that’s hard to rank.”
When asked to choose a specific member that they thought was unattractive, Kyuhyun andRyeowook chose Eunhyuk. They reasoned, “Just looking at it 100% from a looks-based point of view, Eunhyuk comes last”, and “I’m jealous of everything about Eunhyuk… except his looks.”
Eunhyuk retorted, “I’m not saying I’m handsome or anything, but I don’t think Ryeowook is a position to be saying things like that.” Hilariously, he then chose Ryeowook as the least attractive member.
Ryeowook responded, “Eunhyuk’s face was covered for our recent concept. I think our company knows that Eunhyuk is lacking in the looks department.”
At this point, Heechul spoke up and said, “I thought Eunhyuk was handsome up until today, but I think the three have a brainwashing effect.  Seeing him now, his face is a bit…” MC Kang Ho Dong agreed by laughing while stating, “Eunhyuk’s face does look a bit complicated.”
Siwon joined the guys in teasing Eunhyuk by adding, “Kang Ho Dong is more handsome than Eunhyuk,” to which Eunhyuk retorted by saying, “Ho Dong hyung is just a lump!”

Super Junior’s Choi Siwon surprised fans by showing off his tight abs on the August 23rd episode ofSBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘.

As actor Sung Hoon Ee prepared to display his abs, MC Kang Ho Dong looked towards Siwon and stated, “And Siwon-sshi, you get ready, too,” which caught Siwon by surprise.
Siwon replied, “I knew that Ho Dong-hyung (older brother) would request something like this. However, I thought… maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t, so I didn’t really prepare my abs.”
However, there wasn’t much to worry about as his abs were impressive enough to surprise not only female guests, but the male guests as well. Afterwards, the guests commented, “Is that what you look like when you don’t prepare? That’s awesome.”

On the latest episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun described his devastation over how he lost his crush to fellow member Eunhyuk.

Apparently, Kyuhyun met this mysterious crush when he went to the hospital after a car accident. He explained, “I went to take care of some hospital bills after receiving treatment, and I experienced love at first sight with a female employee there.”
Kyuhyun went on to say, “It was the very first time in my life that I really felt what love at first sight was like. I asked her for her phone number while taking out my phone, but after hesitating for about three seconds, she turned me down. People recognized me and started talking so I left the area, but I regretted leaving after being rejected only once — I decided to make plans in my own way.”
He decided that the best course of action was to use the same tactics that actor Park Shin Yang used in the drama ‘Lovers in Paris‘, but he soon learned that his crush had a boyfriend. Kyuhyun was so disappointed that he thought, “Fate must not exist.”

Surprisingly, Kyuhyun got to meet his crush again at a Super Junior fan meeting, and he thought, “Maybe she broke up with her boyfriend, and came to find me. As she got closer, I felt like my heart was about to burst, but then she got into Eunhyuk’s line. I found out right then that she was Eunhyuk’s fan.”
“Seeing her so shy as she asked for an autograph, I wondered to myself if this was a dream. If she had been Choi Siwon’s fan, I wouldn’t have said anything, but I was shocked that she was Eunhyuk’s fan. After that, I don’t believe in fate anymore.”
When asked if any of his fellow Super Junior members are currently dating, Kyuhyun spilled the beans that less than half of the members had girlfriends.

17 August:
MBLAQ’s G.O. recently opened up about the infamous facial hair that he carried when the group debuted.

On the August 16th episode of “Strong Heart“, G.O. finally revealed the story behind his macho look.
He said, “When MBLAQ was being created, Rain told us that we need a radical member. He recommended that I grow some facial hair. Then, he thought people would remember MBLAQ as the group with the member that has facial hair.”

G.O. continued, “However, as time went by, I became a slave to that facial hair. When I went on variety shows, I only got to talk about facial hair. I also have a lot of hair on my chest, so whenever I’d wear V-neck shirts, people joked that I could clean the floor with it.”
During the recording for “Strong Heart”, G.O. started out with a clean face but as time passed, a shadow of a beard started to appear. It showed how fast his facial hair truly grows.
He said, “I was so stressed out about it so I decided to get laser epilation hair removal, but Rain always told us to love ourselves for who we are. He didn’t let me do anything to my face. I was going to go for it secretly, but he found out somehow and talked me out of it. People told me to think about how it would help with acting, but I didn’t change my mind. But then, Rain told me a secret. He has a very clean cut image, but it turns out he got laser epilation himself.”

When asked whether Rain knew that G.O. was revealing his epilation secret, G.O. replied, “I don’t think so. It’s been hard to contact him these days. I’m sharing this story in the hopes that he’ll call me.”
He finally added, “Once Rain told me that even after laser epilation, hair still grows a little bit, I gave up getting it. I think that he is living vicariously through me since he doesn’t have facial hair and I still do.”

On August 16th, Super Junior’s Shindong guested on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ and revealed his tips and know-hows on how to run a profitable internet cafe.
The idol CEO recently launched his very own internet cafe called ‘Dracula‘ and began his tip session by revealing, “I built my business acumen by reading the book, ‘The Laws of 10,000 Hours‘.  There’s a special tip in raising your profits.”
Shindong began by revealing his first tip, which is to form an alliance with the bakeries and rice cake stores in the area. “Once you form an alliance, it’s a lot cheaper to buy food in bulk directly from them. Make sure to stock up on soboro bread in your cafe. Since it’s thick, it makes you get thirsty no matter what. When you fill up all of the seats, give them out for free as a form of celebration. 100% of them will come up to order drinks.”
He continued, “If you think they’re getting sick of bread, form an alliance with a rice cake store. Give out ‘baekseolgi’ (steamed white rice cake) for free, and once again, they’ll automatically come up for drinks.”
On how to sell ramen, he added, “First, make some ramen and walk around the room with it.  Make sure to stimulate their senses with the smell.  That’s all you need, because they’ll be up to order ramen then.”
Adding on, he said, “And I’m a bit sorry to say this but when my employees are hungry, I make them sit at spare desks between customers to eat.  When they do, the row that they’re sitting in all get up to order ramen.”
Kang Ho Dong nodded in agreement and said, “You get hungry by just looking at TV advertisements for ramen, so just the smell is definitely enough.”

On the latest episode of ”Strong Heart“, actress Woori revealed the hardships that led to her decision to get cosmetic surgery.

She debuted at the early age of 12, but later began to undergo a growth spurt, causing her appearance to change. She said, “My nickname had been ‘Mystery Girl’ and at the time I heard things such as ‘You’re doll-like, mysterious, and exotic’. However, after puberty, my appearance began to change.”
“Because of that, I heard things like ‘Your face has changed a lot from before. You’re not as pretty,’ and got turned down at acting auditions. However, I became a potential candidate for the heroine of a drama and didn’t attend school in order to practice hard.”"
Unfortunately, the casting crew felt that Woori wasn’t pretty enough, through a shocking phone call.

She continued, “My manager received a phone call directly saying that they did not like my face line. I was only in my second year of high school and was shocked. Afterwards, I couldn’t meet anyone and couldn’t smile no matter where I went. I was scared to stand in front of the camera. For several months, I couldn’t sleep and didn’t go to school–I couldn’t leave my room.”
Finally, after deep reflection, she decided to change her face line.
She said, “In order to regain my confidence, I made the changes to my face. My eyes, nose, and mouth are all mine and because they said they did not like the line underneath, I recognized the solution was to change it in order to overcome it. Now I have become more confident.”
Since then, I think I became more lively.”
It appears that things have really gotten better as she is currently in the drama, “Heartstrings“.

Late last year, model/actress Woori and B2ST’s leader Doojoon shocked fans by taking part in a half-nude photoshoot for ‘Marie Claire Korea‘.

The photoshoot in question required that she be topless in the same tub as Doojoon, which naturally resulted in her being bombarded by anti-fans after the pictorial hit the shelves.
On SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Woori revealed that she’s been the target of jealous and envious fans for some time now, leading her to finally clarify, “There’s a secret to this photoshoot. I was at an age where I was too shy to do a nude photoshoot so the team allowed me to wear a bikini top. Later, they used graphic effects to remove the line.”
She continued, “I’m not nude so I hope that B2ST’s fans can let go of their anger.”
After seeing the photoshoot, fellow guests commented, “She’s very talented despite her young age”, and“She looks like a mermaid!”

On the July 26th broadcast of ‘Strong Heart’, she said,
There was a time during ‘NU ABO‘ in which I was the only member who had a revealing outfit. I never worried about my abs before, so I was a little unsure about wearing revealing clothing. I was surprised when an article came up titled ‘11 abs’ with captured images from our performance.
Krystal continued, “During my young trainee days, I went to jazz dance class and did a lot of sit ups so I have more muscle than fat.
To dispel any feelings of envy, Krystal joked around and pointed to the enlarged screencap, saying, “I had eaten bread, so there was bread in my stomach.

On July 27th, 2PM’s Taecyeon guested on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ and talked about his ‘business relationship’ with SNSD’s Jessica.
The segment began with 2PM talking about how they failed to cast f(x)’s Krystal to feature in their latest track, “Hands Up“. Taecyeon said, J.Y. Park told us to ask Krystal ourselves, but I’m the one who communicates with SM so I sent the text to Krystal to ask.”
Taecyeon revealed that he wanted Kim Yuna at first but gave up after turning on the TV and seeing news reports of Kim Yuna leaving for Russia. “All of the members then chose f(x)’s Krystal, but out of everyone, Junho was the most enthusiastic about casting her.”
Krystal accepted the offer, but the entire recording was unfortunately canceled because of the song’s lyrics containing lines like, ‘Enjoying the club‘, and ‘Let’s drink‘.
As she is a minor born in 1994, representatives felt that the song was unsuitable for Krystal. Eventually, the song was turned over to Wonder Girls’ Sohee.

MC Kang Ho Dong pressed, “How did you find out Krystal’s phone number?” Taecyeon replied, “I found out through SNSD’s Jessica.”
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk then raised suspicions by asking, “Nichkhun and Victoria are a virtual couple so you could have asked Nichkhun to find out Krystal’s number. Why did you go through Jessica? Even I don’t know Jessica’s number.”
Kang Ho Dong continued by asking, “Do you know the SNSD members’ numbers?” Taecyeon replied, “I don’t know all of their numbers.”
Pressing further, Kang Ho Dong asked, “Is it only Jessica’s number you know then?” Put on the spot, Taecyeon finally responded, “I don’t talk to Jessica often. I call her when I have a favor to ask.”
Fellow guest Kim Young Chul made the studio burst into laughter by commenting that the two were of ‘business relations’ then.

On the latest episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, child actress Jung Da Bin charmed the studio with her candid wit.
When actor Ryu Si Won said that he would not allow the girl to call him ‘oppa‘ (what younger girls call older boys) because he’s the same age as her mother, she aroused curiosity by saying, “There is only one person who I call oppa.”
It turned out that the person was actor Lee Sang Yoon.
She explained, “Uncle Sang Yoon is my ideal type. I became a bit sad after finding out he was in a relationship with Aunt Sang Mi. However, because it is Aunt Sang Mi, I am happy. They look good together. I even thought they looked good together while they were filming for the drama. However, I really did not know they would actually get together.”

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk and fellow member Eunhyuk had some words to say about host Lee Seung Gi’s drinking habits on the most recent episode of Strong Heart.

Apparently, despite being part of the same show for some time now, the three just recently got together to hang out in their personal time. Co-host Kang Ho Dong expressed some disappointment at not being invited, asking Lee Seung Gi: “You recently had a get-together around Chung-dam-dong didn’t you?”
Leeteuk commented, “We promised to meet, but I was hesitant to the very end. Up until an hour before we were supposed to meet, we kept asking each other, ‘Are we really meeting up?’ It was my first time meeting a fellow entertainer friend on an unofficial occasion so it was a bit awkward.”
He went on to say, “We were all bothered by who would pay for the drinks. I was supposed to pay since I was the oldest, but Lee Seung Gi said, ‘I’m the one who got everyone together so I’ll pay. You guys can pay the next time we meet.’ In the end, Lee Seung Gi paid.”

Kang Ho Dong commented, “I guess Eunhyuk was the most comfortable,” to which Lee Seung Gi replied, “Eunhyuk can’t drink so he only had some cola so it would have been unfair for him to pay.”
Eunhyuk and Leeteuk then went on to reveal a bit of Seung Gi’s drinking habits, “If you see how much he drank, it was only right that he paid! To our surprise, he’s actually quite the drinker and braggart.”
Kang Ho Dong chimed in as well saying, “Lee Seung Gi is surprisingly manly. His alcohol tolerance is extremely high.”

Apparently, it was the same day that the family was having a meal at a restaurant. Sulli’s mother stated, “In a corner inside the restaurant, a fire was found and extinguished quickly. If they hadn’t discovered it, it could have become an incredibly large fire.”

On this week’s “Strong Heart,” Lee Ji Hoon revealed that he was a big fan of Lee Min Jung. He addressed a brief letter to the beautiful actress through the program to show his genuine affection for her.

The letter read:
“I watched over you for a long time. From the beginning, when we participated together in an apartment endorsement, I sincerely hoped and believed that you would do really well in the future for your television career.

You said you hoped you would make it big as a rookie and you started to become well-known through dramas. As you progressively became successful and landed the label of the nation’s goddess, it became difficult for me to approach you.
I was turned into someone who could only look over you as a fan.
Now I’m sad to be in this position, but as a fan, I congratulate you for doing well. As an actor, I hope that I get the chance to participate in a kiss scene with you.
I was envious of Jang Hyuk in the drama ‘Midas’.

I look forward to your continued good acting from here on out. As a fan, I really love you!”
After this confession he made the shape of a heart with his arms.

On the most recent broadcast of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, singer and actor Alex recounted the story of how he and his nine year younger girlfriend, model Jo Hee, came to be a couple.

It seems the couple met on a drama set, and their relationship started off as a romantic drama as well!
He stated,
“We met during the drama ‘Pasta‘ when she was hired as one of the waitresses. I noticed her because of her simple style in jeans. I wanted to have memories of the drama, so I took a lot of photos, and when I checked later, there were 10 photos of her alone. That’s when I realized that I might have feelings for her.”
Alex continued,
“I asked her to come out to see the winter snow. Though Jo Hee said that she could only drink one bottle of soju, she ended up drinking more than five that night. The next day there was a party so I thought I should take my chances, and I asked her, ‘Do you want to be my girlfriend?’”

Yoon Hyung Bin explained,
“When I mentioned TVXQ, people threw some worrisome glances towards me. I said at that time, ‘ They call their fan club Cassiopeia? Their fan club has 800,000 people in it, but their music records sale was only 100,000!’
Usually when I insult celebrities, my mini homepage attracts 20,000 – 30,000 people. But when I insulted TVXQ, my number of visitors rose to 180,000 an hour after the broadcast. My mini-homepage became a field of insults, and as I looked through them, I told myself, ‘Ah, so there are insults like these’, ‘All the world’s insults are gathered here’, ‘Stars inspire star-like insults.’
After insulting TVXQ, TVXQ’s sold more than 500,000 albums. An article came out mentioning that my insult actually impacted the music sales in a good way.”

SBS’s “Strong Heart” held a “King of Kings” special on the June 21st broadcast.

During this recording, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong confessed an interesting story titled, “Kim Hyun Joong’s incarceration incident” and got everyone’s attention.
Back in 2007, Kim Hyun Joong went to a nightclub with some acquaintances while on vacation in Jeju Island. He revealed, “I was even singing while playing, but when I get drunk, my downfall is that I get really sleepy. I had to use the restroom, so I left briefly to go to the restroom. However, I don’t recall anything that happened after that.”
When he woke up from his sleep, Hyun Joong first checked his text messages. His cell phone was off and when he turned it on, he had over 100 missed calls. After this, he was about to go back to sleep, but he suddenly realized that he couldn’t remember where he was. Because it was dark and he couldn’t see anything in front of him, Hyun Joong thought he might have been kidnapped and told himself to stay calm.

He turned on his cell phone again to try and use the light to see what was in front of him, but after a second, his cell phone turned off again. He put on his shoes and started to touch the items in front of him.
Kim Hyun Joong revealed, “I went back and forth touching the things in the room, but I felt a lot of buttons. When I pressed the buttons, they felt familiar. I thought to myself, ‘Ah, this is the room from last night.” The buttons were from the karaoke machine.
As it turned out, when Kim Hyun Joong came back from the restroom, he accidently went into the wrong karaoke room in the club and fell asleep. His friends thought that Kim Hyun Joong went back to his dorm early, so they left the nightclub.  After, Kim Hyun Joong tried to exit the club, but the doors were locked and the phone inside the nightclub only had extension features.

Kim Hyun Joong started to worry a bit more, but he finally got the door to open and escaped. However, when he came outside, he realized that his hair was a mess and he had no money. He tried to make a toll-free call to his friends, but his friends didn’t pick up the phone because they were all asleep.
Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Because my dorm was 40km (around 25 miles) away, I just sat on the street. I was just a beggar” – causing much laughter in the studio. Those around him joked around and stated,“You’re a flower-beggar,” playing on his title as a “flower boy” from “Boys over Flowers“.

When my younger sister was in elementary school, she studied so well that she received all 100%s. Before she got all 100%s, I promised to buy her a computer if she got all 100%s. One day, I got a call from my mom saying that Da Young got all 100%s… so I bought her a computer.

After about a month, mom called back and said that she didn’t actually get all 100%s, that she actually got about 1 or 2 wrong.”
He continued,
“One day I got a call and my sister said things she usually doesn’t say, like, ‘Oppa, I miss you. I love you’. When I asked why she was saying these things, she said B2ST was having a concert. My younger sister is a B2ST fan. Because I got tickets for her friends as well, I became a popular star.
Later, Da Young was asked, “What do you think of Leeteuk oppa?” She shouted, “He’s good-looking!”Unfortunately, Leeteuk’s glee was short-lived when she continued, “But I like B2ST more.”
Kang Ho Dong asked, “Who do you like most out of the guest stars YunhoKim Hyun JoongLee Seung Gi, and Junho?“. Without hesitation she responded, “I like B2ST the most,” shocking all the stars with her frank answer, and causing the audience to howl with laughter.

Unfortunately, there was a large crowd of them coming in and I realized that I’d be crushed to death if I went in. I did a U-turn and returned to the auditorium’s waiting room.”

On “Strong Heart“, TVXQ’s Yunho revealed a sad and moving story about the hardships that he and his family had to endure.

On the show, Yunho stated,
“While I was in middle school, my family went through a tough period. One day, while I was in bed, my father left the house at 4 a.m. After some observation, I realized that this was quickly became a daily occurrence. He came home at 9 p.m. and left at 4 a.m. without fail. Misunderstanding the situation, I told my mother about it and she said that he wasn’t that type of person.
Thinking that I needed solid evidence, I followed him one day. I wore a hooded tee and sunglasses and even had a camera ready. I believed that I would have to reveal the truth no matter what. My father took a taxi instead of a car so I thought that maybe he really was doing what I had suspected.
He went into a building that I had never seen before. I felt that it was a bit too risky to follow him in so I decided to wait for him outside. He came back out carrying a lot of newspapers. It turned out that he was delivering newspapers every morning.

He used to do a lot of work as an executive, but later the situation changed so he became an assistant for another person. The important thing is that my mother also did not know about this.

It was shocking news. I thought that if I succeeded, I would have to take care of my father, my mother, and my family.
My mother’s situation was even more shocking. I only found this out less than a month ago. My mother had increased in weight despite exercising for 7 to 8 years. It turned out that she hadn’t actually been exercising, but had been working at a factory.
Even now my parents are working hard. My parents believe that they shouldn’t use their children’s money like their own. Because I felt so sorry about that, I bought them an apartment as a present to them. I also recently traded in my father’s old car for a brand new one.”
Yunho revealed that he wanted to be a good son to his parents who went through such trying times in the past for the family.

On the latest episode of “Strong Heart”Super Junior’s Leeteuk decided to ‘fess up to some of his misdeeds against TVXQ’s Yunho.

Leeteuk began by asking Yunho, “When TVXQ was promoting ‘Hug’, wasn’t there a time when you woke up in the morning and your thigh hurt because it had a bruise?”
Surprised, Yunho confirmed that this was true, which led Leeteuk to continue, “I caused that bruise. Yunho is the type who can fall asleep as soon as he closes his eyes. At the beginning of my debut, TVXQ, Super Junior, and even our managers lived together in one apartment. All 22 of us lived in a place that was only about 1,000 square feet. Usually everyone just sleeps, but one time I was walking around and I accidentally kneed Yunho’s thigh. He woke up a bit because it hurt, but then he went back to sleep saying that it was okay.”

The audience laughed, but Leeteuk wasn’t quite done yet. He said, “I sincerely love you, and there’s one more thing…”
“Before his debut, Yunho started saving money in a 5 gallon water bottle. The money was accumulating nicely at first, but at some point, didn’t you say that the amount stopped increasing? I’m sorry. I had no choice. It turns out that with twelve people living together, there’s rarely anything to eat. The younger members would say they are hungry, but what money does a trainee have? At first, I only took out about 50 cents and bought them chips, but slowly the bottle started to drain…”
After admitting his secrets, Leeteuk sincerely apologized to Yunho for the things he had done in the past.

On June 14th, 2PM’s Junho shared a sweet story through “Strong Heart“ that made fans melt over his sincerity to please them.

The idol talked about his ‘High-Touch’ fan meetings in Japan, where stars give high-fives to each and every one of their fans in the venue. He explained, ”When it first began, I heard that there were 10,000 people outside. It was a huge convention center, and the members and I sat down at desks with towels, wet towels, and a mouse pad-looking thing where we could rest our elbows.”
Junho continued, “The staff advised us to put our elbows on the pad, but I felt that it lacked sincerity. The other members followed their advice, but I got excited and raised both my hands instead. I was feeling good, so I kept working hard, but the Japanese staff encouraged me to switch arms.”
After 20 minutes, I became exhausted. But I told the staff that I was really happy because of the fans, so I’d keep doing it like this for now. Then they told me that there were 30,000 more fans outside.”
He added, “Because I was smiling the entire time, my mouth was getting cramps, instead of my arms.
Good to see that Junho goes above and beyond for his fans!

10 June:

Yunho’s long-awaited nude beach story has finally been revealed!
On the 7th, SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ invited back many of the past ‘Strong Heart’ champs from the last year and nine months to pick out the best ‘Talk King’ of the stars.
TVXQ’s Yunho started out the show with a placard that read, “Bora Bora nude scene.” He shared, “When TVXQ were rookies, we went to the Bora Bora islands to film our music video for ‘Hi Ya Ya Summer Days‘… The beach and scenery was so lovely that it looked like a scene from a movie… We played with the stingrays in the ocean and also partook in water polo. At that time, we were so full of youth and excitement that we put all our focus into the game and our swimsuit bottoms slowly came off.”
His confession surprised his fellow cast members on the set but he continued on, saying, “However, we were told that shooting for the video would begin immediately. The staff members were heading towards us on the beach and because there were female staff members present, none of us got out of the water. We were just watching them from inside the water. Because we were embarrassed to tell the staff the truth, we told them, ‘We’re in an important match right now. Can you just wait a little?’ to delay and buy some time. The problem was we couldn’t figure out which floating swimming briefs belonged to which member. In time, we eventually wore our own swimming briefs and ended this incident.”
However, their adventures in Bora Bora didn’t end there.
Yunho added this tidbit, “That isn’t the end of the story… Right outside the doors of our hotel, you can go swimming. Even the floors were made of glass so you could see the ocean underneath. The building was such that if you look up from the ocean, you can see into the hotel room.”
Yunho also shared the group’s little mischievous adventure.
He said, “Since we were at a resort, it was full of newlyweds. As it got dark, our curiosity arose. We all thought, ‘Let’s have a special experience this once,’ and went swimming in the ocean. We started peeking into other people’s room from the ocean and saw various couples kissing… We went from room to room as if it were a world tour. Let’s just say some of the things I saw that night, I’m taking it to my grave.”
Who knew that the members of TVXQ were such peeping toms?!

SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong revealed an incident where he was mistaken to be actor Bae Yong Joon because he couldn’t speak Chinese.
On the June 7th broadcast of SBS’s “Strong Heart,” Kim Hyun Joong was a guest as a part of the ‘Special Strong Heart King of Kings’ episode.
During the broadcast, he revealed that people call him a “Bae Yong Joon look-alike” and “2nd generation Bae Yong Joon.” Because of the similarities, he was once mistaken as Bae Yong Joon by Chinese fans during the Asian Games. Kim Hyun Joong stated, “A Chinese fan asked for my autograph but handed me a picture of Yong Joon hyung.”

At that time, Kim Hyun Joong repeatedly stated in English, “No! No Bae Yong Joon,” because he couldn’t communicate with the Chinese fan. However, the Chinese fan misunderstood him and thought ‘Bae Yong Joon’ wouldn’t sign the autograph for him because he was annoyed by him. The fan persistently followed Kim Hyun Joong around until finally swearing at him and leaving his side.
Kim Hyun Joong stated, “Well, that’s how I got rid of one Bae Yong Joon fan” – drawing much laughter from the guests and audience.

On the most recent episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart”Rainbow’s Go Woori shared a very personal story about her aunt.
She confessed, “Certainly, making Rainbow successful is a goal for me, but if I had just one goal in life, it would ultimately be to live life helping many people. It all started with my family. I thought a lot about revealing this, but… my youngest aunt has Down’s syndrome. While the physical appearance is a bit different from what we consider ‘normal’, her mentality is also that of a seven to twelve-year-old. When I was very young, it wasn’t much of a problem, but it became one as I grew older. My friends would make fun of her and bother her. As a young child, I was easily affected by this. I really disliked her. I even bothered her without my parents’ knowledge.”
Then, she moved to a new neighborhood and made new friends. One day, Woori went to the playground with her friends, where she encountered her aunt.
Woori explained, “One day, my friends were passing the playground where my aunt was playing by herself. My friends said we should check it out because there was a weird person there. I was worried that she might be surprised to see us, but as soon as she saw me, she smiled very brightly and called my name. At that moment, I got angry. I knew I shouldn’t have said these kinds of things, but I told her, ‘I wish you would go away. Why do you live with me and do this to me?’ Feeling guilty, I ran home and cried.
I cried myself to sleep and when I woke up at night, it was total chaos outside. My aunt had really disappeared. Because I was afraid of being punished by my parents, I didn’t say a word. At dawn, we were contacted by someone from far away, so we went there and I discovered that my aunt had really gone away, carrying a quilt with her belongings. My mom hadn’t said anything then, but I knew she was having a hard time. She blew up at my aunt, asking her why she made her suffer.
At that moment, my eyes met my aunt’s and she started to cry.

Then she said, ‘Go Woori, I’m sorry’. I had always bothered her, thinking she didn’t understand anything, but she had known everything. My heart really ached.”
At this point, Go Woori began to cry.
She continued, “So after that incident, I never showed any embarrassment and openly introduced my friends to my aunt. That is how I made good friends.”
Go Woori left a message through the program for her aunt, who is currently at the hospital:
“Aunt, I’m really sorry that I can’t visit you these days because I am so busy. You know that I always miss you, right? I’ll buy ice cream and visit you when I can. I love you.”
