B1A4‘s Gong Chan has officially become a high school graduate!

On February 9th, Gong Chan graduated from the Seoul Arts High School along with MYNAME‘S JunQ.

Gong Chan is seen wearing his cute mustard-yellow school uniform that he’s previously revealed to fans. Based on the pictures taken at the event, he seems to have enjoyed a day of simply being ‘graduating senior’ Gong Chan Shik.

Aside from Gong Chan, other idols who’ve graduated this year include IU, Girls Day’s Minah,INFINITE’s Sung Jong, A Pink’s Bomi and Eun Ji, and actor Yoo Seung Ho.

B1A4’s Gongchan has charmed fans with his child-like enthusiasm.

On January 18th, Gongchan proudly showed off his yellow school uniform through Twitter. “It’s been a long time since I wore a school uniform,” he wrote. “It’s pretty, [but] I think I outgrew my uniform because it’s small on me…”

He continued, “I don’t know why, but I get excited when I wear my uniform. I feel like I should jump around >.<” “Everyone let’s all go away together~ ^^* “.

Decked out in his mustard yellow uniform, Gongchan whips out a variety of poses for the camera. Fans laughed especially at his dazzling smile and his ‘running motion’, as if he were inviting them to run to school.

Netizens replied, “You’re so handsome wearing the uniform”, “Were you always this dashing?”,and “Gongchan! You are so cute!”

The boys of B1A4 have announced that they’ll be making their comeback this month with their second mini-album!

On September 8th (9th in Korea), the final teaser image for member Gongchan was released through their official homepage.

The digital release for their second mini-album is set for September 16th.

Ever since B1A4’s debut, maknae Gongchan generated buzz amongst fans for being the doppelganger of “Music Bank” MC, actor Hyun Woo.

In response to the attention, PD Kim Ho Sang of “Music Bank” shared a photo of Gongchan and Hyun Woo side by side, confirming their striking resemblance. He tweeted, “The twin of MC Hyun Woo, B1A4’s Gongchan! Even the staff members were surprised.”

Netizens commented, “I can’t even tell who’s who”, “A doppelganger that even producers have acknowledged!”, and “Sometimes I feel like Gongchan is MCing on ‘Music Bank.’”

Representatives of B1A4’s agency stated, “We also thought that he looked similar to Hyun Woo-ssi, so we’re surprised as well with this picture. We would like to thank the fans for taking such an interest.”

After revealing their first two members, upcoming boy band, B1A4, has updated their website revealing their third member, Gongchan.

A representative of WM Entertainment stated, “Gongchan is the maknae and the main vocal of the team. He not only has vocal talent, but impressive acting skills as well, so he will be able to promote in a variety of different areas.” Stay tuned for the revelations of Sandeul and CNU in the coming days!
