Blady

1 Feb:
Girl group Blady is gearing up for their return with a new member!

On February 1st, SY6 Entertainment revealed, “Blady, who made their debut with ‘Crazy Day‘ and was recognized as one of K-Pop’s Top 10 on YouTube by people all over the world, will be recruiting a new member. They will be re-forming as a 5-member group.”
The group debuted with original members Darae, Kangyoon, Bunhong (‘Pink’), and Sunyoung. They previously revealed their plans to add a new member with each new album to eventually form a seven-member group. With the incorporation of new member Nahyun, two more spots have yet to be filled.
Nahyun is reported to be a 21 year old who studied to be a stewardess and has been in the spotlight as an ‘ulzzhang‘. She’s been training for two years, and is said to be proficient in many talents, one of which includes possessing quick wit for variety shows.
Nahyun will be introduced to the public through advertisements for health drink, ‘Linteus 96.7′.

2 September:
Rookie girl group Blady made their debut back in May with their first single album, “Tingle Tingle“. They’ve recently made their return with “Crazy Day“, and are out to stamp their mark on the K-Pop scene.

Comprised of Darae (22), Bunhong (21), Kangyoon (19), and Sunyoung (19), their name is a combination of the words ‘black’ and ‘lady’.  Unlike other girl group who usually don’t stray too far from sexy or cute concepts, Blady opted to go for something strong, confident, and charming.
Darae revealed, “‘Crazy Day’ is a powerful song for powerful women.  The lyrics are strong and so is the choreography.  It’s just an expression of confident women.” Bunhong added, “When we first received the song, we were worried as to whether it was really okay to sing something like this on TV; that’s how powerful it was.”
For those who haven’t heard it yet, a part of the lyrics state, “The day I turned crazy because of you. The day I was hurt because of you. I’m going to go crazy. The day I turned crazy because of you.”
The girls made their official debut on August 18th through Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘.  “We were scared during the rehearsal, but not so much on the actual stage. We don’t even remember how it went.”
Kangyoon said, “My oppa, who’s currently serving in the army, called me after our performance. He usually doesn’t praise me, but he said, ‘I’m proud of you. You were amazing.’  I cried after hearing that.”

Although they’re still rookies, they already have a growing international fanbase. Fans from all over the world previously flew in to support their debut stage.
Sunyoung revealed, “I’m not sure how they found out about us to visit.  International fans will leave tweets for us in English, but since I’m not good at English, I can only reply in short sentences. It makes me feel apologetic.”
Darae continued, “I try to respond in English as much as I can. Fans will send us pictures that they drew of us and it’s just impossible not to reply.”
Another surprising piece of news is that the girls won’t be continuing as a four-member group.  Starting with their next album, they’ll be adding one new member each time.
Sunyoung explained, “There are infinite possibilities to the color black, and just like our name and color, we don’t want to just stop here. We’re going to continue adding members. At least three more members will be joining.”
SY6 Entertainment confirmed that the group will be coming out with their new members around November or December.  Darae said, “We’ve only just debuted.  We’re going to present a variety of different stages to the public and hopefully become a group that’s easy to approach, like ‘next door idols’.”
Kangyoon concluded, “Our ultimate goal is to make the public watch our stage with amazement. A group that surprises people with every new stage.  Our goal for this year is to be like the miss Aseniors: to win a rookie award in the year of our debut.”

10 June:

On June 9th, rookie girl group Blady took off to the Maldives to film for their music video, “Crazy Day“, which will be under the direction of Hollywood director Kang Young Man.
Blady will be the first ever Korean idol group to film their music video in the Maldives, and the girls are planning to use every bit of the heavenly scenery to bring out their charms.
Director Kang Young Man worked on the movie “Avatar” and was one of the first in the world to use a 4D 5G grandeur theater ad in 2010. In 2005, he won the Best Director Award at the New York Movie Film Festival for his film, “The Last Eve.”
CEO Kim Tae Ahn of SY6 Entertainment revealed, “In order to raise Blady into Hallyu stars, we are starting them off internationally right from the production stages. Director Kang Young Man saw the potential Blady has as Hallyu stars and agreed to direct their music video. Blady is a group that was created from the get-go with the international audience in mind, so with their debut, we hope to unleash the plans we have for them to secure their growth as Hallyu stars.”
Blady will also be filming two new CFs in addition to their music video in the Maldives.
Kim continued, “Even before their debut, they’re already receiving the love calls of advertisements. For now, we have chosen a health drink named ‘TANN-SD‘ (from Indonesia) and a sports tool named ‘TURN.’ Both CFs will be filmed in the Maldives as well.”
Blady held their debut showcase last month. For those that need a refresher on who these girls are, check out their individual member profiles here.

14 April:
Another girl group, ‘Blady‘, is joining the flood of debuts this year, and like many others, they’re boasting the support of big names. Hit composer Shinsadong Tiger, who’s known for producing for B2ST and 4minute, recently took the time to express praise for this rookie group

Comprised of four members, the girls are currently preparing to debut this May under a production team named Flaming Potato. Shinsadong Tiger reportedly watched over their training process and revealed that they possess a passion unlike any other.
He stated, “I was interested from the moment the Blady members began their training process. Their passion and skills definitely stood out from the many girl groups debuting these past couple of months. They have enough talent to compete for the rookie award at this year’s year-end ceremonies.”
SY6 Entertainment’s CEO added, “These four unique members have come together to form a group named Blady. They’ll be holding their debut showcase next month. In anticipation for their debut, the members have been sleeping three hours a night in order to devote everything else to their rehearsals.”
