Though they’re missing member Bae Da Hae, Vanilla Lucy made their comeback with their third single album, “Vanilla Party“!
The girls recruited new vocalist Eun Hwa to take Bae Da Hae’s place, and they previously featured Eun Hwa in last month’s digital single, “Happy Song.” Their comeback work, however, is different in style in that it features a powerful rhythm and choreography “as a surprise present to the fans who have waited.”
The single contains a total of three tracks, including two versions of “Happy Song”, and their newest track, “Vanilla Party”. Their title track is described to be a trendy, mainstream-friendly track of the ‘club house’ genre. Eun Hwa’s powerful vocals and Sora’s catchy saxophone performance definitely stand out the most in the song.

30 Mei:
On May 27th, Vanilla Lucy released their second digital single, “Happy Song“!
After Bae Da Hae withdrew from the group, the girls brought in new vocalist Eun Hwa and have been focusing on their Japanese activities for a while now. But their busy activities didn’t stop them from preparing an album for their patient Korean audience.
“Happy Song” is a ‘Disney-pop style’ song that’s both sweet and fairy tale-like in melody and lyrics. The members combined a fun salsa and Brazilian rhythm to bring out the bright quality of Eun Hwa’s vocals.
When asked why they chose “Happy Song” as their title track, the girls stated, “When we experienced the earthquake in Japan, the only thing that we realized we needed was happiness. We prepared this album with the heart of wanting to share happiness through our songs.”
