Having dropped her 8th studio album “Pitta” last week, Baek Ji Young continued with her comeback stage on today’s episode of MBC’s Music Core.
Baek Ji Young is making her comeback after a two years and six months hiatus, and her album is the work of Big Hit’s in-house producer, Bang Shi Hyuk. She also personally chose the album’s title to be “PITTA.” Like the bird it’s named after, the title is an expression of eight different charms.
Her title track “As Usual” features Bang Shi Hyuk’s characteristic composition style of beautiful, modern melodies and lyrics that drip with emotions. This ballad will surely have Baek Ji Young’s voice ringing in your heart for days thanks to her characteristic deep, husky voice.

After a long hiatus, the F.T. Island boys kicked off their comeback promotions through today’s episode of ‘Music Core‘.
Since it’s their first Korean work in almost a year, the boys aptly named their third mini album, “RETURN”. F.T. Island has been actively promoting in Japan, and still are, to some extent.
Their title track, “Hello Hello” is a fast-paced rock track that records at 200 BPM. With an added acoustic effect, the song is definitely a refreshing rock track that’s perfect for the summer season.
The title and lyrics are about a man who’s unwilling to bid farewell to his lost lover by greeting her with a “hello hello” instead of a “goodbye.”

After slightly more than a month of promotions, the Rainbow girls are wrapping up promotions for their “SO女” mini album on today’s episode of MBC’s Music Core.
Rainbow had teamed up with Japan’s Daishi Dance for their comeback title track, named “To Me“, and it has Daishi Dance’s trademark, an emotional and moving piano melody, complemented by a catchy dance beat that has definitely caught the interest of fans of dance music.

After a five year absence, ‘dance king’ Jang Woo Hyuk finally made his comeback through today’s episode of ‘Music Core‘.
His title track, “Time Is [L]Over” was a collaboration piece between Shinsadong Tiger (who he’s worked with since his first solo album) and producer Joker (who previously worked on B2ST’salbums).
With its strong rhythm and guitar riff, the song talks about how time seemed to stand still at the moment he broke up with his lover.
The former H.O.T. member certainly lived up to his reputation as ‘dance king’ with his flawless choreography. From the finger-choreography to the buffering dance, the moves for this song have gained much interest, particularly after it was discovered that it was created by world-renown dance team, ANIMATION CREW-ELECTRONIC NO1 | 3DCOLORS-DOOBU.
Without further ado, check out the king’s return to the stage below!

Famous producer Kim Chang Hwan finally debuted the fruits of three long years of labor on today’s episode of ‘Music Core‘!
His very own boy group, N-Train, held their debut showcase on May 25th and revealed that they were determined to be acknowledged for their vocal talents alone. Their debut track, “One Last Cry“, is a soul jam with lyrics about a man reminiscing over a woman who he can’t seem to forget.
N-Train explained, “Idols are usually known for releasing dance tracks with strong beats. We hope to differentiate ourselves by emphasizing an R&B style. We’re confident, but we won’t let it get to us, especially since we still have much to learn in order to grow as artists who leads Korean music.”
