The event began with Bae Yong Joon’s greeting to the crowd, and his speech was punctuated by screams of “Yon-sama“, a tribute to his earlier popularity with ‘Winter Sonata‘. The event is definitely build up excitement for the series’ sequel, which was announced earlier this March.

On September 2nd, actors Bae Yong Joon and Kim Soo Hyun left for Japan to attend the ‘Dream High Premium‘ event at the Saitama Super Arena.
3,000 Japanese fans caught wind of their departure and gathered at the Haneda Airport despite the poor weather conditions. Hoping to catch a glimpse of the two stars at the arrival gate, the crowd swelled to such a size that 300 bodyguards were called in to protect Bae and Kim.
Japanese media outlets also competed with one another in covering the event, interviewing fans on scene while waiting for the actors to arrive. It’s the first time in nine months that Bae Yong Joon stepped foot in Japan, so fans were especially ecstatic over his return.
Reporters on the scene stated, “Bae Yong Joon paralyzes the airport every time he makes his entrance, and he’s done it again this year. The biggest crowd has shown up today, proving his unwavering popularity.”
The ‘Dream High Premium Event’ will take place on September 4th.

The drama was previously aired through Japanese network DATV, but because it’s garnered such a positive response from viewers, the network decided to airing re-runs of the episodes.
DATV and AVEX have decided to host the Dream High concert at Saitama Super Arena on September 4th. The event will see appearances from Bae Yong Joon, J.Y. Park, and the rest of the cast.
An official stated, “This is the first time in about nine months that Bae Yong Joon will be meeting with his fans. We are already receiving inquiries about the concert tickets, and people are expressing a great deal of interest about the concert.”

The 16-episode KBS drama, “Dream High“, might have come to a conclusion last night, but the party ain’t over yet as KBS aired a special concert tonight to wrap up the whole series.
On February 24th, the cast of the popular drama came together to perform on stage for the ‘Dream High Special Concert‘, held at a location right off of Seoul.
The cast members, including miss A’s Suzy, 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, T-ara’s Eunjung, IU, Kim Soo Hyun, and more, delighted the crowd by performing various musical acts.
Kim Tae Woo and Park Kyung Lim acted as the MCs of the event.
Besides the performances from the concert, special behind-the-scenes videos were also revealed, and the “Dream High” staff also gave out their ‘Grand Prix’ awards, with the categories being ‘Precious Kkap’, ‘King of NG’s’, ‘Hard Worker’, and ‘Hurricane Tears’.
The cast performed almost everything from the drama’s soundtrack, including showcasing new versions of character-specific songs, entertaining the crowd with their talents.

The series finale had fast-forwarded to the year 2018. First off, the mysterious ‘K‘ (whose stage introduction kicked off the show) was revealed to be none other than ‘Sam Dong‘ (Kim Soo Hyun)!
The star had successfully auditioned for EMG, but almost missed his chance because he wanted to stay with ‘Hye Mi‘ (miss A’s Suzy). An emotional scene took place between Sam Dong and Hye Mi, during which Sam Dong revealed, “I didn’t audition because I wanted to go to America. It was because of you and that was all. You’ve always been my music, and my music is still you. That is why I was able to come this far. Music doesn’t exist if you’re not there“.
But Hye Mi encouraged him to keep running towards his dream. “Don’t you remember saying to me that you were going to be so handsome and accomplished that I wouldn’t even worry about you? Well I’m still worried about you. So if this is the end, I’ll keep worrying. So become better“.
Ultimately, Sam Dong did go to the U.S., and debuted under the stage name ‘K’. He became an international star, and was even becoming nominated for a Grammy Award.
As for Sam Dong’s first love, she performed at her 100th concert, with her friends and family supporting her. She also dedicated her first song to ‘Sam Dong’, finally revealing her feelings for him.
‘Jin Guk‘ (Taecyeon) debuted under the name ‘Hyun Si Hyuk‘, and became a hot star whose presence was always declared by the horde of media surrounding him. ‘Baek Hee’ (T-ara’s Eunjung) became a teacher at Kirin Arts High School, and it’s noted that she resembled her former teacher, Lee Yoon Ji, in both appearance and teaching style.
The ‘Milky Couple’ maintained their love, as Pilsook (IU) and Jason (Wooyoung) were shown interacting affectionately. IU became a kindergarten teacher, and decided to use her musical talents to lull her class children to sleep.Additionally, the Oh Hyuk (Um Ki Joon) and Kyung Jin (Lee Yoon Ji) couple, as well as the Doo Shik (Ahn Kil Kang) and Oh Sun (Ahn Sun Young) couple both got married, revealing happy endings.
Eun Bin made a cameo as Go Hye Mi’s sister, Go Hye Sung who is now 16.

On the morning of February 28th, 2PM’s Taecyeon, Wooyoung, and miss A’s Suzy expressed their feelings on finally concluding their much-loved drama, “Dream High.”Suzy, who played the role of ‘Hyemi’, expressed, “I feel both refreshed and upset. It was my first project as well as leading role, so I worried over a lot of things. Fortunately, I’m able to conclude ‘Dream High’ amidst the love and support of my drama family. I know I was lacking, but I’ll work on my skills in order to improve as an actress and meet you all again. My ‘Dream High’ family, my miss A unnis, and all of those who loved ‘Dream High’, thank you. I will never forget the winter I spent life as ‘Go Hyemi.’”
Ok Taecyeon, who played the role of ‘Hyun Shihyuk’, commented, “It was an opportunity for me to work with seniors, as well as grow as ‘actor Ok Taeyeon’. I was worried over whether I’d be able to do okay since I was playing the lead role in only my second project, but through the help and support of my friends, my acting junior J.Y. Park, and all of the staff members who helped the drama shine, I was able to take part in a meaningful project. It was very cold filming in the winter, but I spent a winter which was just as beautiful.”
Wooyoung, who played the role of ‘Jason’, concluded, “How could it be, ‘Dream High’ is already coming to an end!! I was nervous, especially since it was my first acting debut and because of the amount of English lines I had, but I was able to overcome it all thanks to the help of 2PM’s Taecyeon, and my seniors and directors. It was an extremely meaningful start and experience, so I’d like to thank all of those who supported and loved ‘Jason’.”

The February 22nd episode saw Jason provide an opportunity for Pil Sook to appear on broadcast. On their way home, Jason suggested that she delete the photos of her former chubby self, to which she replied, “Those were my happiest days.” He responded, “Well, there is one other person who loved those days as well.” Jason took out his cell phone and flashed a photo of her from when she was 82kg to prove his point.
Touched, the two exchanged intense gazes before Pil Sook closed her eyes, expecting a kiss. Feeling playful, Jason decided to stretch out and give her stuffed animal a kiss instead. A kiss scene between IU and Jang Wooyoung on a recent episode of “Dream High” has become the talk of the town amongst the viewers lately.
After the 14th episode of “Dream High”, which was broadcast on February 21st, a short teaser of the 15th episode was aired, in which Kim Pilsuk (IU) and Jason (Jang Wooyoung) share a kiss scene together.
With regards to this, a KBS representative stated, “The kiss scene between Wooyoung and IU is receiving a lot of interest from fans. But rather than it being a kiss, Wooyoung just pecks IU’s forehead.”
According to the teaser on the official homepage of “Dream High”, Kim Pilsuk guest appears on a cable broadcast by the request of Jason. However, the program suddenly shows a past photo of Pilsuk, throwing Pilsuk into bewilderment. Piksuk says, “Those were my happiest days,” to which Jason added, “There is one more person who also liked those days too.”

For the past few episodes, the ‘milky couple’ has been melting the hearts of fans with their push-and-pull tactics, so fans were elated to see them initiate skinship like this. They gushed, “They make me so excited,” and “What if they have their first kiss!”

Korea’s top teen drama, KBS 2TV’s “Dream High“, is opening an event for fans to watch the very last episode together with Suzy and Kim Soo Hyun.As a ‘thank-you’ present, fans will get a chance to watch the last episod (airing on February 28th) with ‘Hyemi‘ and ‘Sam Dong‘ at Ilsan’s CGV. This will be the first and only chance for fans to watch ‘Dream High’ on the big screen next to their beloved actors.

On the February 15th episode of “Dream High,” ‘Sam Dong’ made everyone’s hearts flutter when he performed his emotive song, “Dreaming” .
After his hearing became damaged, Sam Dong faced the possibility of losing his dreams. He eventually decided that a perfect pitch would be his only hope, and so he goes to ‘Pil Sook’ for help.
Pil Sook advised, “Memorize one pitch and make your vocal cords remember it,” and “Since you have excellent relative pitch, all you need to do is focus on the rest and it will all work out“.
In order to fully test his pitch, Sam Dong teams up with Pil Sook to perform Jinwoon & Changmin’s duet, “Can’t I Love You?“.
His excellent performance earns him an A+ grade, and he later goes on to perform “Dreaming” at his showcase.
The episode achieved 20.1% in viewer ratings, according to AGB Nielsen Media Research.

The sweet ‘Milk Couple’ from “Dream High” are finally an official couple!
On the latest episode, ‘Jason’ finally realized his feelings for ‘Pil Sook’, thanks to the jealous feelings that came up after he caught her in an empty room with ‘Sam Dong.’ Suppressing his feelings, Jason took Pil Sook aside and asked her to listen.
“Think of this as advice from a senior who debuted before you, so listen well. Restrict yourself from staying somewhere when it’s only you and another male. Of course I won’t misunderstand, but others are not like me. You’re going to get into a scandal if you keep that up.”
Hilariously, Pil Sook retorted with her own cute jealous remarks. “Why don’t you be careful? It’s easy for others to misunderstand when they see you saying ‘I miss you, I love you’ to other girls on the phone. Even though I’ll never misunderstand.”
By understanding that their sarcastic ‘advice’ to one another were simply masked feelings of jealousy, Jason confirmed his love for her by taking the piece of bread she was eating and ingested it himself, thereby initating an ‘indirect kiss’.

The 11th episode of “Dream High” started with Samdong’s shocked reaction to ‘Jin Guk” (Ock Taecyeon) and ‘Haemi’ (Bae Suzy)’s kiss. Up until that moment, Samdong had been an innocent boy who was genuinely in love with Haemi.
Heartbroken and angry, Samdong decides to cut his hair – a traditional symbolic gesture of one’s transformation. Stepping out from the barber’s, Samdong will now walk as “Dark Samdong”, a cold man stunned by the betrayal of love.
The shock eventually wears off as he walks through the streets. Samdong is seeing crying as he broods over his thoughts, “My mother lied to me. She said the heaven only gives as much pain as one can withstand, but it is too difficult for me to bear”.

Analysts AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that ”Dream High” pulled in a 17.6% viewer rating, a 0.9% jump from last week. It’s speculated that the stat increase was due to Suzy and Taecyeon’s surprising kiss scene.
A high viewership rating is also expected for next week’s episode, as fans are curious to see which direction the love triangle between Suzy, Taecyeon, and Kim Soo Hyun will take.

This week’s episode focused on the students’ trip to Nagoya, Japan. ‘Jason,’ ‘Jin Guk,’ ‘Baek Hee,’ ‘Ajung,’ ‘Insung,’ ‘Taesan,’ and ‘Sohyun’ later join the two in an impressive b-boy battle against the Japanese team.
The scene was actually recorded in Nagoya, Japan, and reportedly attracted a large crowd of Japanese fans, who expressed their admiration for 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung’s duo dance, as well as the impressive ‘wave’ dance put on by Eunjung, Minju, and Kim Boreum.

Song Sam Dong berkelahi dengan Jingook (2PM Taecyeon) untuk melindungi Hyemi, yang di set up seperti ia mencuri sesuatu. Song Sam Dong bahkan melempar telur kepada Jingook.
17 Januari:
Empat leader “Dream High” - Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, Ok Taecyeon, dan IU - bertransformasi menjadi SNSD untuk very own street performance.‘Jin Guk’ (Ok Taecyeon) mengunjungi teman lamanya yang mengalami depresi, dan berusaha membantunya untuk merasa lebih baik. ‘Hyemi’ (Suzy) bergabung dengan ‘Jin Guk’ dalam street performance dan step outside prejudice melawan pop music.
Sedangkan, ‘Sam Dong’ (Kim Soo Hyun) menunjukkan hidden dance skills dengan bergabung pada street performance bersama dengan ‘Pil Sook’ (IU), yang akhirnya bertransformasi menjadi beautiful swan.
13 Januari:
Yoon Baek Hee (Eunjung) menghalangi Go Hyemi (Suzy) di bathroom, dan mengatakan, ‘Can you get lost?‘
Karena merasa terganggu, Baek Hee menyatakan, ‘You think you’re tough now?’ Hyemi melanjutkan, ‘I also dislike this school. Why are you enduring it all? It’s so disgusting.‘
Hyemi menyatakan ‘So you’re afraid of me… my father told me that when people are saying these things, they either have no confidence or they’re afraid.‘ Melihat Baek Hee yang takut, Hyemi mengatakan, ‘You’re afraid to become Hyemi’s sidekick again.‘

12 Januari:
Pada episode “Dream High” 10 Januari menunjukkan budding romance antara IU Pilsook‘ dan 2PM Wooyoung, ‘Jason‘.Pilsook memberikan Jason air minum setelah dance rehearsal dan Jason mengatakan, “Thank you.” Pilsook sangat senang.
Sekolah memberikan seragam dan saat pembagian, “Is this a blanket or a skirt? Owner of this XXL uniform, step forward!”
Pilsook berlari dan sembunyi, kemudian Jason mengambil seragam tersebut dan mengatakan, “Mine.”
Insung, yang memberikan seragan mengatakan, “It’s a skirt. It’s for girls. Boys have to wear pants.” Jason membalas, “Do you divide girls and boys by skirts and pants? Episode ini mendapat rating 10.7%, dibawah SBS “Athena: Goddess of War” dan MBC “Queen of Reversals,” dengan rating 16.3% dan 14.2%.
Pusat dari kontroversi ini adalah miss A Suzy, yang berperan sebagai ‘Hyemi.’
Penonton merasa kecewa dengan skil aktingnya yang kurang dan mengkritiknya karena ia berbicara seperti sedang membaca buku. 2PM Wooyoung, yang berperan sebagai ‘Jason,’ juga dikritik karena ekspresi wajahnya yang aneh.
Penonton berkomentar, “It was to the point where I couldn’t even continue watching,” “She’s the queen of horrible acting,” “In her group, Suzy is in charge of the visual, and it seems like she’s trying to raise viewer ratings with her face again,” dad “They’re not even ready to be standing in front of the screen.”

Eunjung menyatakan di Star News, “Suzy’s doing well despite it being her first time acting. I have a lot of lines with her so I pay close attention to her acting. Kurang dari 24 jam premier dari KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream High‘ dan bagia pertama OST telah dirilis.
Bagian pertama OST terdiri dari 2 lagu, yang dibawakan oleh para pemain. Lagu pertama berjudul, ‘Dream High‘, dinyanyikan oleh Wooyoung, Suzy dan JOO, dengan rapping oleh Taecyeon. Lagu kedua berjudul, ‘Someday‘ yang dinyanyikan oleh IU.

2 Januari:
Set resmi untuk star academy dari drama, ‘Dream High‘, telah ditunjukkan. Bangunan rumah seluas 1100-square meter ‘Kirin Arts High School’ yang terletak Gyeonggi-do di dekorasi dengan arched doors dan hallways, dengan ruang belajar dan kafe yang bisa dinikmati oleh siswa.
Saxophone raksasa yang terletak di lobi menunjukkan cinta dan impian para siswa untuk sukses dalam bidang musik.
Ruangan kelasnya diciptakan semuanya untuk mengutamakan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan siswa dan guru.
Juru bicara menyatakan
“Through the new style of the star academy, ‘Kirin Arts High School’, viewers will be able to experience their ideal school and turn their dreams and visions into reality.”
2PM Taecyeon menyatakan keinginannya untuk mendapatkan adegan ciuman di drama “Dream High.”
Pada acara KBS 2TV ‘Entertainment Relay’, Taecyeon menyatakan, “I didn’t have a kiss scene with Moon Geun Young on “Cinderella’s Sister“. I would like to do a kiss scene this time around.”
"If the viewer ratings go up, I could even do over 100 kiss scenes. I predict the first episode to get a viewer rating of 25%.”
Wooyoung, yang juga memiliki kisah cinta dengan IU, juga menginginkan adegan ciuman. “If I don’t get a kiss scene, then I will make a schedule myself and film it.”
Wooyoung juga menyatakan ia telah belajar bahasa Inggris dari Taecyeon dan Nichkhun, karena ia berperan sebagai murid American international bernama Jason.

Dengan premier yang semakin dekat, KBS 2TV mengeluarkan 5 menit video preview untuk “Dream High” lewat website resmi mereka.
Drama yang dibintangi oleh Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, Taecyeon, Eunjung, Wooyoung, IU, Bae Yong Joon, Lee Yoon Ji, Uhm Ki Joon, dll.
Drama ini menceritakan tentang siswa di ‘Kirin Arts High School’ yang mengejar mimpi dan harapan.
Drama ini akan ditayangkan tgl 3 Januari di KBS 2TV dan 24 Januari di KBS World
26 Desember:
Poster pertama hubungan antara Park Jin Young dad Bae Yong Joon.
Poster kedua menampilkan para pemain drama, siswa dari ‘Girin Arts High School’.
Suzy berperan sebagai ‘Hyemi,’ gadis yang ingin menjadi ‘2nd Sumi Jo‘. Namun, ia gagal karena ayahnya bangkrut.
Kim Soo Hyun berperan sebagai ‘Pil Sook,’ anak yang innocent dan naif yang memiliki bakat tersembunyi.
Ok Taecyeon berperan sebagai ‘Jin Guk,’ murid yang keras dan suka melawan yang tidak memiliki impian dan hidup dalam bayangan ayahnya. Dengan menjadi siswa ‘Girin Arts High School’, ia belajar untuk memiliki impian.
Eunjung berperan sebagai ‘Baek Hee,’ gadis yang selalu di bawah ‘Hyemi’, dan selalu bermimpi menjadi lebih kuar daripada lawannya. Wooyoung berperan sebagai ‘Jason,’ siswa dance international , dan IU berperan sebagai ‘Pil Suk,’ gadis dengan penampilan yang buruk sehingga tidak ada yang mengetahui bakatnya.
