Mnet’s M! Countdown is back with another episode of great performances and musical treats.
There were debuts for SISTAR 19 and SpinEL, while Kim Wan Sun and Untouchable made their comebacks. Elsewhere, CNBLUE begun their follow-up promotions while Girl’s Day said goodbye.
It was a battle between 4minutePark Bom, and f(x) for the #1 spot on M! Countdown today, and in the end, it was f(x) who grabbed the win tonight. Unfortunately, the girls weren’t performing tonight and couldn’t receive their trophy in person. Congratulations to f(x) on their win!
Songs that charted this week.
Today’s MCD had an alternative chart which had last week’s performing artists hitting a hammer strength machine backstage. Guess who hammered their way to the highest score?
Other performers who stood on stage included Eru, Rainbow, A Pink, U-Kiss, Soul Dive, Dal Shabet, December, Turtle, Brian, and Monday Kiz.
Check out their performances below!

Starship Entertainment sprung a surprise late last month with the unveiling of SISTAR’s sub-unit, SISTAR19comprising of members, Hyorin and Bora and they made their debut on today’s Mnet’s M! Countdown with their debut single, “Ma Boy“!
In contrast to the high tension music video teaser, the song is sweeter in quality.
The girls have been working with Brave Brothers since their debut, and he’s their producer once again for this romantic track about the nervous feelings of a young woman in love. As expected, Hyorin’s explosive vocals and Bora’s rapping are a perfect match!

Having achieved great success with their recent album “First Step“, the CNBLUE boys have returned with a special performance of “Love Girl” for this week’s episode of “M! Countdown“!
“Love Girl” in particular was re-arranged as an acoustic version, different from the original included in “First Step”. The song flawlessly managed to carry the same bright and upbeat rhythm into a smooth finish that only an acoustic cover can give.
FNC Music stated, “Since the boys have received so much love to the point of earning double and triple crowns, we have decided to produce a new album as a way of saying thanks to our fans. With three tracks that were originally only released in Japan and plenty of photos of the members, we hope that it will become a great present for our fans.”

Hip hop duo Untouchable begins their promotions for their new song “You You” on M! Countdown today before their official enlistment together later this year.
After making several hip hop hits since their debut in 2008, the duo opted for something different this time by creating a fusion of hip hop and rock. Their title track, “You You”, was produced by hit composer Kang Ji Won(who produces for SECRET, Song Ji Eun, B2ST, 4minute) and Kim Ki Bum.
The song features a refreshing electric guitar that brings out the depth of Untouchable’s impeccable rap skills, and with the added effect of real drum sounds, the song takes on a powerful and dynamic feel. TS Entertainment trainee Oh Jin Suk also makes an impressive debut by adding his vocal talent to the mix.

Korea’s first ever acoustic guitar girl group, SpinEL, has made their official debut with their first single, “Chu Chu“.
This girl group team is comprised of two members, SPIN and EL, both of whom were born in 1996. SPIN is the vice president of her class and first began featuring for other artists since 2003. EL used to be a child actress and starred in a variety of movies, dramas, and mucicals.
While SpinEL is a combination of their name, it is also the name of a jewel. Like their name, the girls hope to become a shiny jewel in the Korean music industry.
Representatives of SpinEL stated, “The public is thirsty for talented and real music, as exemplified by the hits of C’est Si Bon and MBC’s ‘I Am A Singer.’ SpinEL has that same girl group charm, but with also a musical style that will satisfy listeners.”
The girls debuted on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” by performing with their guitars on air.
