It’s been a while, but Hottests can finally rejoice – 2PM is back and stronger than ever for their second album promotions with “Hands Up” on today’s MBC Music Core.
2PM were known for their brooding, sorrowful songs about heartbreaks and lost love, but they’ve decided to put that image aside this time with something more edgy and stylish to better fit the party atmosphere of summer. Fans have nicknamed it the ‘upgraded version’ of their debut track, “10 Points out of 10“.
“Hands Up” is noted for being the first ever ‘club style’ track from the boys, and it features a strong electronic sound with an addictive beat. From start to finish, the song showcases 2PM’s charms to their fullest potential, and Sohee’s narration makes for a fun additional effect.
Besides their title track, they also performed “Like A Movie“, so check them out below!

Having ended promotions for “To Me“, the Rainbow girls are back with their repackaged album and follow-up title track, “Sweet Dream“, on this week’s MBC Music Core.
“Sweet Dream” was created by Japan’s Daishi Dance, with assistance from AP and Park Se Hyun. The pop dance track aims to charm with its sweet, fantasy-like feel.
Originally nominated to be the title track for their comeback promotions, the girls felt that “Sweet Dream” was better suited as a follow-up instead. And following the popularity of their ‘black swan’ dance for “To Me”, Rainbow has prepared a new point dance choreography, called the ‘Dragonfly Dance’, where the members dance with their eyes closed on stage for their performance.

Having made a fairy-like debut with “I Don’t Know“, the A Pink girls are right back at it with “It Girl” for their follow-up promotions on today’s MBC Music Core.
With just a week’s rest (doubt they had much), the girls are coming back with their their innocent, fairy-like image intact but with a more approachable and outgoing kick to their style.
Their follow-up track, “It Girl”, from their debut album was composed by Kim Gun Woo. The song is characterized as a sweet synth pop track and is noted for its combination of an arpegio patterned synth and cute dance beat. Kim Gun Woo made sure to emphasize the girls’ innocent image with sweet lyrics about a love confession. The repetitive lyrics make for an addictive and powerful track.
