The idol delivered a satisfying performance for a special dinner date scene with actress Kim Sun Ah! In the drama, Junsu plays the role of a popular singer that Kim Sun Ah’s character idolizes and looks up to. After enjoying her concert, she wins the opportunity to go on a dinner date with him. Despite it being Junsu’s first acting opportunity, he impressed viewers with his natural flow and manner.
Junsu said, “It’s my first attempt at acting in a traditional drama, and a lot of the actors and staff helped me so that I can act as naturally as possible. Filming on the set firsthand, the atmosphere is great and I’m looking forward to the drama’s future.”
Producers also revealed, “Junsu’s special cameo re-energized the drama. The film set was literally a positive and uplifting environment.”

2 August:

The anticipation for JYJ member Junsu’s cameo in SBS’s ‘Scent of a Woman‘ has definitely risen with reports of his spectacular concert performance in the upcoming fifth episode.
On July 28th, 500 fans flocked to a university in Uijeongbu to attend the fictional concert of Junsu, who plays a character of the same name and stature of being one of Asia’s biggest stars.
Kim Sun Ah, who plays the role of ‘Yeon Jae’, visits the concert with Lee Dong Wook and Um Ki Joon, as a great fan who’s admired him for quite some time.

At the concert, Junsu performed “I Can Soar” from JYJ’s worldwide album, “The Beginning“, and “Intoxication” from his Japanese single. Junsu also made sure to prepare a special event for ‘Yeon Jae’, who is diagnosed to be terminally ill.
Producers commented, “Although it was his first time acting, he was the absolute perfect fit for his character. His perfect stage manners and passion truly makes him Asia’s greatest stars. Staff members and co-stars all had a fun time enjoying the concert.”
Junsu’s cameo will be aired on August 6th.

Actor Lee Dong Wook showed off his six-pack through a shocking shower scene.

Through the 4th episode of SBS’s “Scent of a Woman”, to be aired on July 31st, Lee Dong Wook will show off his muscular body through a shower scene. His muscular body gave off a feel of both manliness and sexiness.
Rumors state that during the filming of this scene, the staff members were unable to hide their amazement at Lee Dong Wook’s muscular body as he took off his shirt to film.
One representative of the production crew stated, “Despite the hard and long hours of filming, Lee Dong Wook took good care of himself. He is a lot manlier in this scene than the one we filmed at the Okinawa beach. Even through the exhaustion, Lee Dong Wook’s will is very strong.”

19 July:
Actress Kim Sun Ah recently talked about going on a diet for her new weekend drama, “Scent of a Woman”.

She said, “I lost a lot of weight because I was going to play a character who was dying. Filming was continuously pleasant, but as a dying character, I had to become thin. The director did feel sorry about it, but I wish he had focused more on the drama’s story rather than my outer appearance.
For four months, I ate rice once a day and slept for about two hours a day. It was really difficult, but I wanted to devote myself to the role.

To be honest, a lot of people ask me about my diet, but I truthfully do not want to tell them.
It was very painful and intolerable. More than anything, I am afraid of people of following me because the diet is not a healthy one.

I really enjoy exercising, but given the conditions, I couldn’t do it often. After I’m done with this project, I plan on using that chance to train my body again. My mental health is still good.”
The new drama, “Scent of a Woman”, will air its first episode on July 23rd.

22 June:
Lee Dong Wook, discharged from military service just yesterday, is already preparing for a new drama called “Scent of a Woman”. As he went to work, he talked about his experience in the army.

He said, “The day before I left, my comrades and I shared stories with each other. I felt so moved and grateful after realizing how much they had grown to love me. I hope that after me, Andy (Shinhwa) will become a good squad leader. I would really like everyone to be safely discharged so that we could all meet again in the same drama in the near future.”
He also explained why he chose “Scent of a Woman” as his first project right after his discharge:
“I was thinking of doing a fun and lighthearted drama after being discharged, but after reading the synopsis for ‘Scent of a Woman’, I thought ‘This is it!’ Also, Director Park Hyung Ki made me excited about the character Ji Wook.”
About his co-star Kim Sun Ah, he said, “Although I was casted for the drama pretty late, Sun Ah sunbae is such a great actress that I think she will be very helpful to me. Not to mention, there’s an episode where I learn about the importance of life through her, so the drama should turn out interesting in various ways.”
He did not forget to greet all his fans, who undoubtedly had been waiting for him to come back and act in a new drama. He said, “I would really like to thank my fans who had been waiting for my return and sending me letters while I was serving. From now on, I will become a better actor after taking part in a good drama and having a fan meeting with all of you.”
Even though he left the army just yesterday, he headed to a photoshoot for the drama’s promotional posters. To congratulate him on being discharged, Kim Sun Ah prepared a cake and they celebrated along with Um Ki Joon and Seo Hyo Rim, who had both been filming at the time.
Their drama, “Scent of a Woman”, will broadcast some time in July, so keep an eye out for it!
