After unleashing their teaser last week, Kim Chang Ryul‘s rookie co-ed hip hop group, WE, has released their music video for “Party”.

“Party” is a song that has a totally different vibe from their previously released track, “Rain“. With its upbeat rhythm and fun choreography, the dance track should get people moving on the dance floor.

Rosie, Macho, Kanghan, and Mandoo are aiming to get the party started with the release of their first mini album, ‘We The Party‘.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (‘MOGEF’) strikes again! This time, they directed their attention towards rookie group WE‘s new music video for “The Rain“, calling it a danger against youth.

Their entertainment company, 102 Entertainment, revealed that they would be re-editing the music video to meet the MOGEF’s 
logical
modern standards. “It is because of the action scene which showsLee Bum Soo using a beer bottle,” they said. “Taking into account the MOGEF’s opinion, we will re-edit the video while making sure we don’t damage its artistic merits.”

The scene in question has the actor using an empty beer bottle to hit a person over the head before leaving calmly.

“Although it’s a bit disappointing, we will reduce Lee Bum Soo’s action scenes and add more shots of the group’s choreography,” the company stated. “Please show lots of interest to the new music video as well.”

WE has been drawing attention for its co-ed makeup, and debuted with their new track earlier this month.

Rookie group WE is gathering attention for being the next up-and-coming co-ed music group.

The group held a showcase to celebrate the release of their digital single, “The Rain“. At a time when multi-member, same-gender idol groups are the trend, they have made a bold move with their 3-male, 1-female group dynamic.

Not only are they known for being produced by DJ DOC‘s Kim Chang Ryul, the group is also garnering attention for their group dynamics. Co-ed groups are not found as often today as they were in the 90′s with groups like Roo’Ra, COOL, Young Turks Club, and S#ARP.

The group will be sure to set themselves apart from other music groups with their powerful dance performances to prove that they are different from idol groups today.

Their agency stated, “Because they are a co-ed group, they will be able express both the appeals of a male idol group, as well as the appeals of a female group, all at once. WE will prove that they stand out amongst other co-ed groups, so please look forward to their debut.”

New rookie group ‘WE‘ has just released their first digital single “The Rain” on November 1st. The group’s dynamics are different, made up of three male members (Macho, Kang Han, Man Do), with female vocalist Rosie. Each member has worked professionally in various fields as a dancer, rapper, CF model, and musical star and have captured the attention of the industry with their undeniably powerful stage presence. The group named themselves ‘WE’, meaning the four of them must come together to be explosive, and the four will continue to look ‘up’ and are determined to reach the ‘top’. They want to show the industry what they are made of, as a powerful performance team.
The group is attracting particular attention as they are the first production project of singer Kim Chang Ryul who took Korea by storm as a member of DJ DOC in 1994. Kim Chang Ryul’s vast knowledge and personal experiences in the entertainment industry have been passed down to ‘WE’, and the four are now ready to impress their fans. Their debut song “The Rain” a collaboration effort of composer Gu JaKyung who has worked with artists like Hwanhee, Crown J & Dal Shabet in the past, as well as the WE members themselves who helped pen the lyrics, reminiscing of their past experiences with love.
“The Rain” is an emotional R&B and Hip Hop track that sings of present heartbreak and tears, reminiscing and aching to go back to a past time in which love was fulfilling. The MV is also garnering interest as director Song Won Young who has worked with Hallyu’s top stars such as Lee Bumsoo,Shinhwa, Brown Eyes, Brown Eyed Soul, miss A, and others has took this on as his personal project.

With the combination of their backgrounds, talents, and highly respected production team, the four confidently dare to tell the world that ‘WE’ are the best!
