On the December 27th episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, BoM‘s Sechang talked about his unique connection to miss A‘s Min.
He first began by revealing that he had debuted in 1997 at the age of six years old. “I debuted throughKBS‘s ‘Emporor Wang Gun‘, and that was truly at the height of my fame. There was even an article that said I wouldn’t have been envious of H.O.T. hyungs’ popularity.”
‘Emperor Wang Gun’ was a highly popular drama at the time, recording up to 60% in viewer ratings. He continued, “I had even filmed 10 CFs. After my debut as a singer, though, I met with miss A’s Min. She said that she had recognized me through this one CF where I was being chased by hundreds of elementary students. She had been one of them.”
With a laugh, he added, “It was funny because at the time, she had gotten my picture and autograph, but now the tables have turned.”
Singer IU may be a superstar, but at the end of the day, she’s a young girl who frets over her body image, just like other girls her age.
On the upcoming episode of SBS‘s ’Strong Heart‘, IU revealed, “Now that I’m 20-years-old, I’m starting to pay more attention to my figure~”
Ever the gentleman, MC Lee Seung Gi quickly complimented the star, “But your body is nice and pretty“. IU took his words with some skepticism, and replied, “I don’t think my body is attractive. I’m jealous of those who look good in skinny jeans because they have a pretty waistline.”
In addition to her body concerns, IU shared an incident where she swore while singing on stage, shocking the guests on ‘Strong Heart’.
Other guests include Kim Hyun Joong, Lee Jung Jin, Im Jung Eun, Ryu Tae Joon, Byun Ki Soo, and Maeng Sae Chang.
She may be the nation’s sweetheart now, but singer IU confessed that in the past, she had received harsh criticism while singing on stage.
On the episode of SBS TV ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on December 27th, IU shared a story about a time she wanted to cry on stage.
“There were two times in life where I wanted to cry,” she said. Once was during her debut stage. It was a day where a lot of boy groups were performing, and a lot of girl fans were there to cheer the boys on. It was these girls that began yelling harsh things to IU. “Once one person started, all of them began joining her,” she continued, thinking back to that day. IU was only sixteen when she debuted and still had a lot of baby fat on her face, and she revealed that the girls in the audience called her a pig.
“The 3-minute song felt so long and regardless of whether or not I was popular, I thought they would listen to my song, but that wasn’t the case,” she said. “After that incident, I’m not discouraged even if the audience is silent after my performance. I am strengthened by the quiet sounds of cheers.”
On the episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ that aired on December 27th, Lee Jung Jin remarked, “When I was in the States, I had a chance to attend the Grammy Awards after-party.”
“It was so awkward because I didn’t know anyone. I was like a fish out of water. Having not much to do, I went outside to have a smoke and there was a female smoking outside already,” he continued. “Her profile was pretty, and then I realized that it was Lindsay Lohan. She came up to me first and introduced herself as an actress, and we exchanged a few words.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Goodbye 2011′ special of ‘Strong Heart’ also guest-featured actress Kim Hyun Joowho talked about her kiss scene with actor Cha Tae Hyun.
21 December:
Singer IU shocked the guests on the set of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ by revealing she had seen ghosts in the past.
On the episode that aired on December 20th, IU remarked that she had seen a ghost while recording her new song, “You & I“.
“There was a small argument with the song composer, so we temporarily put the recording session on hold. I saw that my manager headed into the recording booth, but when I checked, there was no one in there. He came out of a completely different room,” she said, shocking everyone on set.
“And when I was sleeping at the dorms while recording “Good Day“, I experienced a ghost that would whisper “I love you” and blow into my ear. I saw the ghost in my dream later on, and he was very handsome,” she continued.
She especially scared everyone on set when she described another ghost she saw. “I had a dream in which Seo In Young unni kept walking towards me laughing in her high pitched tone. I suddenly had a feeling that this wasn’t a dream. I opened my eyes and saw a girl sitting next to my bed. Her hair was disheveled and wore baggy old clothes. She was looking down, but at that moment, she lifted her head… and she was me. I was so scared and told the CEO that I really couldn’t stand living there anymore and that I even saw myself. So, he allowed me to go live at home.”
IU revealed that her labelmates Sunny Hill, is currently using her dorm, but they too also experienced the same ghost that whispers “I love you”.

On the November 22nd episode of SBS TV ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk shared a story about his recent vacation.
“After we completed SMTOWN in NYC, I decided to take a vacation and headed to Europe. I had the opportunity to attend England’s premier league soccer game between Chelsea and Arsenal. I even took photos of the tickets and uploaded them on the internet“, he said.
“The game was streamed live in Korea as well, and a fan who was watching the game caught me sitting in the stands. She screen-captured the shots with me in them“, he said as he continued to reveal the screen-shots. Behind one of the players was a fuzzy image of a person in the stands with platinum blonde hair, with a hairstyle that was similar to Eunhyuk’s.
Upon viewing the clip with better quality, it turned out the individual with the blonde hair was actually an elderly woman, and not Eunhyuk.
They also revealed another screen-capture on the episode which revealed the real but very small Eunhyuk sitting in the stands, evoking much laughter on set.
Also guest-featuring on the episode were Wonder Girls and Jang Jae In, Lee Bon, Song Dae Kwan, and more.
23 November:
On November 22nd, Lee Seung Gi revealed that his self-composed songs from his latest album were criticized for ‘lacking depth’.
In the latest episode SBS‘s ’Strong Heart‘, the singer/MC revealed, “It’s easy to become fascinated with your own work when you are writing songs. Everything sounds good to you.”
He continued, “I wrote a few songs on my new album in addition to ”Alone in Love“, and I enjoyed them so much that I shared them with a few seniors around me, including Lee Sun Hee.”
“They said that the songs sounded good, but the lyrics didn’t have any depth to them,” Lee Seung Gi recalled. “But I still put them on the album anyway.”

15 November:
On the November 15th episode of SBS‘s Strong Heart, two groups of people parodied SNSD‘s hit song “The Boys“.
Jung Juri and Jo Jung Rin started the show by perfectly dancing to “The Boys” choreography and were later joined by SNSD’s Taeyeon, Tiffany, YoonA and Yuri.
Right after their performance, a reconfigured Boom Academy shocked the audience by doing their own comedic parody to the song.
Due to Super Junior‘s busy schedule, Boom temporarily had INFINITE‘s Sungjong and comedian Jang Se Hyung as replacement members in Boom Academy. The three then hilariously dressed as the SNSD members and danced to “The Boys” choreography.
In particular netizens pointed out how pretty Sungjong looked dressed up as Tiffany, with a wig and purple dress. Check out their performance below!
Back in September INFINITE member Woohyun revealed INFINITE’s less than stellar living conditionson SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘.
He said that they lived in a worn out place where water leaked from the roof and they had mold on their walls. Their company’s president promised he would move the boys to a better home if they won 1st place in the music charts, which they did with the track “Be Mine“.
On November 15th’s episode of ‘Strong Heart’, INFINITE’s Sungjong appeared on the show and stated, “After INFINITE won 1st place for ‘Be Mine’, our company’s president (kept his promise) and moved us to a new luxurious dorm”.
With that he revealed a video comparing their old and new dorm. The INFINITE members were all smiles proudly showing off their new modern dorm, equipped with a security system along with a large, clean, and very spacious living area. SNSD‘s Yoona and Tiffany also congratulated and complimented the boys on their hard work.
After seeing the video Netizens commented, “Congratulations on moving”, “You’ve become a mainstream number 1 idol”, “Wow a house full of guys are so clean”.
2 November:
On the continuation of the 100th episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, SNSD‘s Jessica was asked which celebrity she wanted to receive a call from.
Jessica truthfully responded she wanted to meet none other than actor Daniel Henney. She added that she has never meet him in person but that SNSD had received an invitation for a movie premiere before.
She also sadly replied that she didn’t know his contact information and even though some of the SNSD members are close with Daniel Hanney’s manager they won’t connect them.
Maybe Daniel Henney will watch this episode of ‘Strong Heart’ and make Jessica’s dreams come true by contacting her.
Singer Kim Hyun Joong opened up about his drinking habits on the latest episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘.
On November 1st, he revealed that it wasn’t easy for him to get close with his agency family members, but eventually, they got more comfortable with each other after a few drinks. When they go overseas, fans usually crowd the hotel lobby, so a lot of times they drink wine in their rooms together.
“One time we were bored, so we agreed that the first person to get drunk would have to face penalties. Thankfully, the others got drunk before I did,” he said.
Kim Hyun Joong continued, “We usually draw on the drunk person’s face. I didn’t think any of them had it in them, but everyone enthusiastically drew all sorts of thing.”
‘Strong Heart’ then revealed the photos taken of the drunken individuals with drawings all over their faces. The photos were so shocking that it immediately caused the entire set to howl with laughter. Unfortunately, there weren’t any photos of Kim Hyun Joong himself, which proved that he’s always one of the last to get drunk.
“I have be careful not to ever get drunk with these people. They may take a photo of me looking so horrible, which might cause me to retire early,” he joked.
He shared, “She was so thoughtful and considerate. I honestly, really liked her. She was the first person I liked after joining SM Entertainment.”
He further explained, “So, being a man, I told her exactly how I felt and told her that I wanted to date her. I thought because I had confessed my feelings for her, we were now an official couple. At least, thats what I thought… The next day I get to the office and people kept telling me that Dana had a boyfriend. I remember thinking to myself, ‘but I’m her boyfriend’… The management staff heard about what had happened, and they told me not to come to the office anymore. I had just started, and Dana was already preparing for her debut. I had to write five pages explaining my actions to the agency, promising to channel that drive and passion towards practicing to become the best.”
After he was done sharing his story, Dana surprised by his remarks, commented, “I didn’t know they told him to leave or that he had to write a five page letter of apology.”

Dana of CSJH surprised guests on the recent recording of ‘Strong Heart‘ by revealing that she was asked to meal by famous actor Won Bin.
Dana explained, “I was a huge fan of Won Bin since I was young, and mentioned in the past a lot that I liked him. Won Bin also knows how big of a fan I am. One time, Won Bin called to ask that we eat a meal together.”
Needless to say, the guests as well as audience were very curious to know what exactly happened. The details will be revealed on the 100th episode special of ‘Strong Heart’, which will be broadcast on November 1st.
