Rookie boy group TAKEN has successfully completed their Japanese showcases, earning a standing applause from industry officials.

Comprised of leader Sungwon, Daon, Yoojoon, Taehyuk, Seungyeol, and Gunwoo, TAKEN held a joint showcase with The One at the West Nagoya Hotel on December 11th.

Approximately 300 major Japanese officials and representatives from media outlets like NHK attended the showcase, and expressed interest in the group after seeing them perform “Young Boy“, “Only One“, and “Hold Up” off of their debut mini-album.

TAKEN stated, “It hasn’t been too long since our debut [November 3rd], so it’s quite cool to be able to hold a showcase in Japan. It was a meaningful experience, and we won’t ever forget this feeling for the rest of our lives. We’ll be a group that continues to improve.”

‘TAKEN‘ successfully completed a recent showcase in Japan.

Rookie idol group TAKEN, made up of leader Sungwon, as well as members Daon, Yoojoon,Taehyuk, Seungyeol, and Gunwoo were recently present at the Nagoya Hotel in Japan to hold a joint showcase with ‘The One‘ to kick off their Japanese debut.

A group of 300 people were in attendance, including Japan’s foreign minister, as well as various Japanese entertainment insiders, management staff from NHK, staff members from various corporations, and a number of news reporters. The boys performed “Only One“, “Young Boy“, and “Hold Up” from their first mini-album ‘Only One‘ that was released last month.

“It’s amazing that we were able to already hold a showcase in Japan, despite our very recent debut. This was a meaningful experience, and I don’t think any of us will forget this feeling or this moment. We ‘TAKEN’ will work hard to grow and develop as musicians,” they boys said.

In related news, the boys will soon begin promoting their song “Young Boy” in Korea.

Rookie idol group TAKEN released their first mini album on November 3rd, and the MV for their title song “Young Boy” was highly praised on Youtube as well as various portal sites. Now, the boys have made their stage debut on the latest episode of MTV’s The Show.

The group from Again 45 Entertainment> is made up of six members: leader Seongwon, Da-On, Taehyuk, Seungyeol, Gunwoo, and Yoojun. With their “shoulder dance”, macho charisma and powerful melody they aim to “take” the hearts of female fans.

Six-member rookie group TAKEN is gaining more and more interest from the public, as they are extremely involved in the logistics of their own debut as well as their promotions.

The group who has released their mini-album ‘Only One Taken‘ on the 3rd consists of six membersSungwon, Daon, Taehyuk, Seungyeol, Gunwoo, and Yoojoon. Their agency put the members together, but they left everything else to the boys. The members themselves came up with the name ‘TAKEN’, meaning they will steal the focus and hearts of not only their fans but the entire public.

The boys decided on their debut song “Young Boy” as well as follow-up tracks “Only You” and “Hold Up” without any help nor intervention from their staff management. They chose these songs because they felt that they would best showcase their musical talents, and poured all their heart and sweat into recording this album.

Their agency stated, “TAKEN is different from most idol groups as they don’t take any direction from the agency. We have given them the freedom to perform the kind of music that they desire, and we will not be meddling with their plans. They have come up with their own group name, as well as their concept, their songs for the album, and much more. They are without a doubt unique and will be expressing their individual colors.”

TAKEN will be debuting on KBS ‘Music Bank‘ on the 18th and will actively begin their promotions.
