Shinhwa member Jun Jin is under agency Open World Entertainment, where the CEO is currently in a scandal. But the situation has nothing to do with Jun Jin, and he is carrying on as always, promoting with his group Shinhwa.
Jun Jin made it very clear that he had nothing to do with the recent developments. A representative from Shinhwa Company informed Dispatch over the phone April 11th, “This is a problem dealing with Jun Jin’s agency CEO. Open World Entertainment has no relations to Shinhwa. This does not at all affect Jun Jin, and Shinhwa will not run into any problems because of it.”
Investigators have spoke with trainees and artists under Open World Entertainment to gather details, but Jun Jin has been exempt from questioning as he has nothing to do with the situation. The Shinhwa Company representative continued, “We’re extremely upset that Jun Jin’s name was included in the articles like he was somehow linked to the situation. If any questioning is required in the future, we will sincerely agree to it.”
As of now, there are no changes in Shinhwa’s schedules or activities. “Shinhwa has gotten back together for the first time in 4 years,” the representative continued. “The members are more determined this time around than they ever have been. They are baffled at the unexpected news, but they will not be shaken whatsoever. They will work hard as always for their fans.”

On November 14th, Shinhwa‘s Junjin was discharged from the military after serving two years as a public service officer.
He was greeted by 100 fans who had gathered an hour before with placards, flowers, and a cake. Standing amongst the crowd, Junjin’s labelmates The Boss were also present to welcome him back.
After the discharge ceremony, Junjin answered a few questions from the press and discussed his experience as a public service officer, as well as plans for the future.
He stated, “This is the first time I’ve ever felt something like this. Thank you so much to everyone who came. For the past 2 years, I’ve had experience working in parking lots, cultural centers, and such. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve learned how to do a variety of things, but I’ve been able to feel more things [than before].”
When asked about his future activities, he responded, “I will start promotions next March with the planned Shinhwa concert. I’ve prepared a lot, so please cheer me on.”
He also explained why the Shinhwa members weren’t present at his discharge ceremony. reason for the absence of Shinhwa members at his discharge ceremony, stating, “I told the Shinhwa members not to come because I see them often. We texted yesterday, and Minwoo hyung told me he was jealous. Minwoo hyung will return after he finishes his remaining term.”
When asked which girl group had cheered him up the most during hard times, he smoothly replied,“There wasn’t a specific group that I relied on.” However, he then added, “I’ve seen SNSD members since they were in elementary school, and they are continuing to do well. Shinhwa will try to show our matured image as oppas or even as uncles.”
Reporters then asked “Could you show us your dance skills here?” Junjin replied, “I’ve been practicing my dance skills with the Shinhwa concert coming up in March. I think my dancing has actually improved.” He then proceeded to demonstrate a few powerful moves.
Junjin closed with the final words, “I felt like two years was a long time, but now, it seems like time went by quickly. I will promote actively as a member of Shinhwa, who has been with you all for a long time. I will do my best to not disappoint and show you the best that I have to offer.”
Junjin will be making his comeback into the entertainment industry through Arirang TV’s ‘Miracle’, and through November 26th’s ‘Open World Festival in Tokyo’, which will also feature other artists under Open World Entertainment like The Boss and X-5.
Shinhwa‘s Junjin will be completing his two-year military service this weekend.
On November 14th, Junjin will be discharged from the army after completing his mandatory duty to the country. The star entered the army in October of 2009 and had a relatively quiet break away from the limelight, barring his rumored relationship with actress Chae Min Seo.
After Junjin, Lee Minwoo will be the only Shinhwa member left in the army. He entered in the beginning of 2010, so he will be out sometime next year. Meanwhile, Shinhwa’s maknae Andy was discharged in October.
The boys have announced several times that Shinhwa will be making a comeback once the members reunite next year.
