As part of its popular world concert tour Super Show 4, concerts were held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka for two days on December 10 and 11.
It is very meaningful that the two concerts were all sold out despite that Super Junior didn’t yet make its official debut in Japan, conducting no special promotional activities. The Kyocera Dome is a dream stage for all the singers but on which top artists are allowed to stand.
At the concert, Super Junior displayed amazing performances that feature 38 songs including “Sorry, Sorry” and “Bonamana.” Each member presented a special performance that well contains their own characteristic features. F(x) appeared as a special guest.
Super Junior took its first step in Japan when their first Japanese concert, Super Show 4, successfully ended attracting 80,000 fans
Their powerful performances supported by a world-class stage management and a variety of performing tools — crane, wire, laser and waterspout — and honey-sweet, soft ballads were fantastic enough to mesmerize the 80,000 audience.
On the same of December 11 when Super Junior held the concert with “Mr. Simple” from its second Japanese single, released on December 7, the news came out that the single ranked top on the Oricon Daily Single Chart.
In an interview held after the concert, Super Junior expressed their deep gratitude and pleasure by saying, “It is a great honor to stand on stage of the mega concert hall. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for allowing us to have such an indelible experience. We think it is just the beginning of a long journey. Please keep your interest and support for us.”Super Junior will keep on going with Super Show 4 by holding concerts in Taipei and Singapore in February next year.
Super Junior’s “Super Show 4″ concert achieves record breaking status after at least 80,000 gathered for their two day concert at Kyocera Dome, Osaka, Japan. On December 10th and 11th, Super Junior held a successful concert in Japan, which was further dubbed to be record breaking.
Despite not having official promotions for their debut and further releases, Super Junior was able to sell out all 80,000 seats for their two day event, proving their popularity in the country.
On the two day concert, it was further revealed that the group performed a number of their greatest hits including “Bonamana”, “Sorry Sorry”, “Superman” and “Mr. Simple”. Fellow labelmate f(x) also appeared as guests as they performed for the track “Oops!”
Other special stages from the group included solo stages from the members, as well as performances from Super Junior’s subunits.
Super Junior and the rest of the crew were able to pull off a stunning concert, utilizing the large venue with wire and laser effects, cranes and other stage directions.
Meanwhile, “Super Show 4″ is set to visit other countries such as Taiwan and Singapore, while plans for a stop in Europe and the U.S. are currently being discussed.
Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan turned blue during the ‘Super Show 4‘ concert, prove of Japanese fans’ love for Super Junior. As expected, every single seat was sold out. Impressed and touched, member Shindong took a memorable picture of the blue ELF ocean flooding the stadium. The picture was uploaded on Shindong’s Twitter which he wrote, “2011.12.10 Osaka Super Show 4 Daebak!! 40,000 ELFs~ Daebak really!!
