in the episode of MBC TV’s We Got Married that aired on February 25, Kyuhyun virtually married with Chinese actress Lou Yixiao. This episode was filmed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.In the episode, Kyuhyun was nervous to see Lou Yixiao at first, but soon teased her, showing a cold look when she acted charming in front of him. They seemed sweet together at first, decorating their new house; however, they met a difficult problem as the bedspread and blanket that Lou Yixiao bought were too small for their bed.Kyuhyun asked, “Why did you buy these small ones?” and Lou Yixiao said, “I don’t know,” shaking her shoulders to act charming. Kyuhyun smiled at first but soon got laughs by suddenly changing his look cold-heartedly and saying, “What are you doing?”Also, when Lou Yixiao said her favorite Korean celebrities were Lee Min Ho and Rain, Kyuhyun made a depressed look for a moment. However, as she said she liked Kyuhyun the most out of all Super Junior members, Kyuhyun smiled brightly as if he felt better by what she said.The Chinese version of We Got Married showed virtual marriages of Kyuhyun and Lou Yixiao, and T-ara’s Hyomin and Chinese singer Fu Xin Bo.

The special “We Got Married” China episode is all set to air on MBC in Korea on February 25. The special, pairing two of K-Pop’s most recognized idols with Chinese celebrities was an instant hit with Chinese audiences on its Valentine’s Day airing.In the China special, T-ara‘s Hyomin coupled up with idol group BOBO memberFu Xin Bo. The two shot their episode in Seoul. Meanwhile, Super Junior Kyuhyun’s partner was actress Lou Yi Xiao. The couple shot their episode in Shanghai. Viewers can anticipate his romantic proposal and the display of his musical skills.Hyomin and Kyuhyun appeared with the regular hosts’ panel in the MBC studio to help introduce the special on its February 25 airing. The studio panel were reportedly impressed with Kyuhyun’s command of Mandarin, which he speaks fluently.The “We Got Married” China special was in celebration of 20 years of diplomatic relationship between China and Korea.

The Chinese version of ‘We Got Married‘ is drawing interest from fans for incorporating both top Chinese stars as well as Hallyu idols, and will finally be airing it’s first episode in China just in time for Valentine’s Day.
According to MBC, the Chinese ‘We Got Married’ will air via entertainment channel SMG (Shanghai Media Group) as a Valentine’s Day special on February 13th & 14th at 8PM.
SMG is a channel that broadcasts throughout Shanghai as well as the areas surrounding the city and boasts an impressive number of 180,000,000 viewers.
There will be three couples in total, two of which are Korean-Chinese couples, while the last couple will be made up of two Chinese stars.
Chinese idol group BOBO member Fu Xinbo and T-ara‘s Hyomin wrapped up their filming in Korea last December, while Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun and Chinese actress Lou Yi Xiao completed their filming in Shanghai.
MBC launched the show in order to celebrate 20 years of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.
MBC’s content team remarked, “We thought that this was a good opportunity for us to try something on a different level and try to investigate the dating and marriage cultures of both the Chinese and Korean youth. By starring both Hallyu idols and top Chinese celebrities, the show will be a fun way for both cultures to very naturally better understand one another.”

Super Junior’s Shindong and comedian Kim Shin Young are selected as emcees for MBC Music’s new chart show Show Champion.In MBC Music’s Show Champion which premiers on February 14, Shindong and Kim Shin Young are to report music chart issues and recent news in the world of singers every week in their own, special way of keeping their audience entertained.Show Champion is a music chart show that broadcasts live every Tuesday at AX-Korea in Gwangjang-dong. The program aims the emcees, artists, and even the audience to be one in selecting “the champion” of music industry. It will also provide the most popular song, the hottest issue, and the best rookie of the week as a leading program of MBC Music.Show Champion selects top 9 of the week by adding up 50%, 20%, 15% and another 15% of each field of soundtrack, album, preference of netizens, and evaluation by experts. On January 19th, Arirang TV reported that the program ‘Showbiz Korea‘ held this poll for one month on their homepage, and that first place went to Donghae.
K-pop fans from all over the world participated in this poll, with some clocking in from countries like Morocco, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico. Out of the 3,278 votes, 355 (or 10.8%) went to Donghae.
2nd place went to fellow Super Junior member Kyuhyun, while 3rd place went to Big Bang‘s leader G-Dragon; both stars garnered 8.1% and 7.9% of the votes, respectively.
On January 23rd, Arirang TV will reveal Super Junior’s thoughts about their domination of the poll.
