Boom - Super Junior

Multi-entertainer Boom is ready to bring some Christmas cheer to your home with his beloved Mrs. Claus (a.k.a. Super Junior‘s Shindong).

On December 24th, Boom tweeted, “Everyone, Merry Christmas~I hope the singles out there stay strong.  Santa is real~~Let’s have a happy Christmas together ^^“.

Boom is seen riding a yellow reindeer in what looks to be a practice room. Standing beside him with his arms at his hips, Mrs. Claus Shindong looks like he’s ready to face all the Grinches in the world to ensure a happy Christmas.

Netizens jokingly commented, “Were you guys recording ‘Strong Heart‘?  Please deliver gifts to my home~“, “I wouldn’t feel lonely if I had you, even if I was single on Christmas“, and “Boom Oppa, take care of your health, fighting!!!”

Former members of “Boom Academy“, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Shindong, will come out to meet Boom on the day he finishes his mandatory military service.

Leeteuk had expressed earlier this month that he wanted to meet his old friend when he came out from the army, but was concerned that his schedule would make it impossible.

On August 20th, Super Junior’s representatives told Star News that despite their intensive promotions for their 5th album, “Mr. Simple“, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Shindong were determined to see their friend on the day of his release. In order to accomodate their wishes, many difficult adjustments had to be made in their schedules to make the meeting possible this coming Monday.

“This was all possible thanks to Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Shindong’s close friendship with Boom“, said the representatives.

The reunion between the friends on August 22nd is expected to be a highly enthusiastic and warm one.

9 August:

With Boom’s discharge coming up this month, many have been wondering whether whether his fellow ‘Boom Academy‘ members will greet him at the scene.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk revealed, “I want to be there to greet him when he’s discharged. Boom-hyung will be discharged soon so I’m really excited. I really hope I can go.”

Unfortunately for Leeteuk, he has a schedule on the 22nd as a fixed member of a show. A representative of SM Entertainment said, “He has an activity that was pre-scheduled so it’s hard to balance out his schedule right now. We’re not sure whether he will be able to go out and greet him on that day yet.”
