Shinhwa recently revealed a comical picture of the members.
On the 31st, Shinhwa Company‘s official twitter posted the above picture with the caption, “[Min Woo] We are Shinhwa!”
The picture showed all of the six members individually “funny posing”, that somehow manages to still make a cohesive group shot. Eric is lying on the floor, Jun Jin and Min Woo are in a dance pose, andHye Sung is lifting his crutches and injured leg in the air.
The netizens responded, “All of the members have a sense of humor“, “Hye Sung’s leg pose looks a little risky, but it’s funny“, and “Dong Wan and Andy are always just looking on?”

After hosting their official comeback concert this week, k-pop’s legendary group Shinhwa has officially returned to the scene!
On March 25th, Shinhwa held ‘2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour in Seoul: ‘The Return‘, their first concert in four years, at Seoul Olympic Park. The six members showcased their seamless dancing and singing with a variety of performances.
Shinhwa opened the show with their second album’s title song, “T.O.P“, with white jackets. The men performed a total of 24 songs, including “Hey, Come On“, “One More Time“, “Destiny of Love“, “It’s Ok“, “The Solver“, and their comeback song, “Venus“.
To showcase their unique friendship and all the love fans sent to them over the 14 years, Shinhwa created a video to show their sincerity towards their fans. The members of Shinhwa themselves were able to stay together because the fans’ memories and support helped the group continue despite the hardships and obstacles they had faced. After the video ended, Shinhwa appeared, singing “Once In a Lifetime“, with fans joining in to sing.
In addition, their idol group hoobaes were spotted in the crowd, such as TVXQ’s Changmin, Super Junior, Teen Top, and 2PM.
Concluding their two-day concert, Shinhwa relayed to their fans, “Thank you for loving us over the 14 years.”

The legendary kings of K-pop, Shinhwa, have released their music video teaser for “Venus“.
As CF director Kim Kwang Suk, who has created many endorsements for Samsung Ultra Notebook,Nikon Camera, and Sky Vega, is at the helm of the video, the anticipation is increasing for the final MV with the men transforming into ‘modern vampires’.
Shinhwa plans to release its 10th album ‘The Return‘ on March 23rd, which can be preordered from March 19th. The title song, “Venus”, plans to have a pop-electro sound not attempted before in the music industry, high intensity choreography, and an addictive chorus.
A representative from Shinhwa Company revealed, “Shinhwa members, who have had 14 years of friendship, have given their heart and soul to each song and will make this album ‘luxury music’. We are very happy that undeserved love and interest is being sent before the album’s official sale.”

Shinhwa’s leader Eric has recently drawn attention for thanking SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man.
On March 5th, Shinhwa held a press conference titled, ‘Shinhwa 14th Anniversary Comeback Press Conference‘ in Seoul. As the members discussed the group’s past and future, leader Eric commented, “I thank SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man for taking a group of ordinary kids and creating Shinhwa. I also thank Good Entertainment‘s president for taking us in after we left our nest and helping us get to #1“.
He continued, “We also thank our fans who stood by us and supported us for 14 long years. We will continue to be active in the center of the music industry and will lead by example for our hoobaes“.
In regards to their fans, Eric commented, “As our fans age alongside us, I realize that a masterpiece is not created overnight. Our tradition will be recognized as refined elegance. Please continue to support us“.
Shinhwa will be releasing their 10th official album this month. The 11 track album features works by Korea’s top producers, as well as tracks that were created by the Shinhwa members.
On March 24-25th, the group will be kicking off their tour in Seoul titled, ‘Shinhwa Grand Tour in Seoul – The Return‘ in celebration of the album release. The concert will be their first since their last concert in 2008, and the highly anticipated show had sold out all 20,000 seats in 40 minutes.

Shinhwa‘s comeback concert ‘The Return’ sold out all 20,000 seats in 40 minutes, making a whopping income of two billion won (~$1,780,000 USD)!
An insider revealed, “Shinhwa held their last concert in 2008 for their ten year anniversary. Four years later, they filled all 20,000 seats, setting a new record … After 40 minutes of sale, all of the tickets were sold out and the profit from ticket sales was roughly two billion won.”
Shinhwa’s leader and Shinhwa Company representative Eric said, “We are very grateful to our fans who have beautifully decorated our comeback after four years. We will present a magnificent stage for our fans who have waited a long time for us.”
Their concert is to be held on March 24 and 25 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium to celebrate the fourteen-year mark since Shinhwa’s debut.

Tickets for Shinhwa‘s upcoming concert, “The Return“, will go on sale on February 13th at 8:00 p.m. KST!
It’s expected that these tickets will sell out like hotcakes, as it’s been four years since the members last held a concert together. Shinhwa will put on a massive concert on March 24th and 25th at Seoul’s Olympic Park Stadium. Fans can choose between six different sections, ranging from 143,000 Won (~$127.00 USD) to 66,000 Won (~$58.80 USD).
Shinhwa’s representatives stated, “Shinhwa has finished practicing their old songs for this concert. In order to show a special performance unique to Shinhwa, they have been getting together whenever they have free time for meetings and rehearsals.”
“The Return” marks both Shinhwa’s comeback to the music scene and their 14th anniversary concert.

Korea’s longest tenured idol group, Shinhwa, have announced that they’ll be throwing back-to-back concerts in March!
On March 24th and 25th, Shinhwa will return to their fans through the “2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour In Seoul: The Return” show in Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnasium.
As reported earlier, this event marks Shinhwa’s first stage reunion in four years, as the members have been pursuing individual activities and fulfilling their mandatory military service.
Shinhwa Company stated, “The members of Shinhwa are focused on meetings for new ideas for their upcoming comeback concert.”
The members are also working on their 10th album (set to release in March), while they rehearse for their 14th anniversary/comeback concert.
29 January:
Shinhwa has solidified their promise to make their comeback in March with their fans.
On January 27th, orange banners with the words, “Shinhwa – We keep our promises. 20120324,” in various spots all over Seoul.
The group, who had gone on hiatus after their 10th anniversary concert in order to fulfill their military service, had put up the banners to once again promise their awaiting fans to comeback on March 24th for their 14th anniversary.
In response, Shinhwa’s fan club, Shinhwa Changjo (or “creation of a legend”), also put up banners that stated, “We, Shinhwa Changjo, also keep our promises.”
Back during the 10th anniversary concert while announcing their upcoming hiatus, the six members had promised their fans, “Shinhwa will comeback, we will be with you even with death.”
The members are in the midst of preparations for their comeback concert as well as their 10th album, and working hard to show their fans a continually progressing Shinhwa.
26 January:
Korea’s longest lasting idol group, Shinhwa, has revealed that they will shoot their new music video in February.
On January 26th, a staff member from Shinhwa Company revealed, “During the second half of last year, numerous composers were seeked out to request songs from, and now the members are recording.”
They continued, “The new songs will be a combination of the current trend in music and of Shinhwa’s long-lasting, original style. The music video shooting will begin next month.”
The idol group will be making a comeback after a four year hiatus, which came about mostly because of the members’ mandatory military service. Shinhwa will kick off their comeback with a concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, marking not only their return to the music industry, but also their 14th debut anniversary.
The Shinhwa Company representative added, “Many new idol groups have appeared in the music industry, but Shinhwa is the only group to perform together, without any members leaving or new members being added, for over ten years. That is what will make Shinhwa’s comeback that much more meaningful.”
Shinhwa will hold a press conference on March 5th, where they will delve into their album details as well as share information on their upcoming Asia tour.

Idol group Shinhwa have just revealed details on their comeback concert, their first as a complete unit in four years!
The concert will take place on March 24th at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium. The arena is known as Korea’s biggest, with a seating capacity of up to 100,000.
The Seoul Olympic Park Stadium holds a special place in Shinhwa’s heart, as it held their last concert in March of 2008. The members had promised during that concert that Shinhwa would “always be together forever, even after death.” The March 24th concert will be a fulfillment of that promise.
March 24th will also mark Shinhwa’s 14th anniversary. The group debuted in 1998 under SM Entertainment as a brother group to fellow K-Pop legends and labelmates, H.O.T.
Shinhwa is known for their soulful vocals, fluid dancing and charismatic on-stage personas. More than their talent, however, it’s Shinhwa’s loyalty that cemented their status as legends in the industry. Each and every member of Shinhwa have stayed together as a group, pulling through various controversies and hardships, while also keeping in touch with their fans.
The concert will feature all six Shinhwa members. Lee Minwoo is expected to return from mandatory military service in March, just in time to rejoin the boys for their amazing show.

Shinhwa‘s been talking about their March comeback for almost a year now, and there are now talks of a variety show to accompany the return!
According to industry officials, Shinhwa will be starring in their very own variety show through jTBCsometime around March to coincide with their comeback album release. The program will begin airing after SNSD‘s ‘SNSD and the Dangerous Boys‘, but the title and format have yet to be decided.
Shinhwa has had their entire group guest on variety shows before, but this will be their first time running their own show.
Shinhwa’s representatives stated, “We have received an offer from jTBC but we are actually receiving other offers from the three public networks as well so we’re trying to balance everything out.”
18 November:
Now that five out of six members have reunited, preparations for Shinhwa‘s official comeback have kicked into high gear.
On November 18th, representatives of Shinhwa revealed to Star News, “Excluding Lee Minwoo, who is currently serving in the military, the remaining five members are finally back from the army and are preparing well for their official comeback next year.”
“We plan to release a brand new album in March of 2012, straight after Lee Minwoo gets discharged from the military. Shinhwa will also be holding an official celebration of their 14th debut anniversary through a special concert in Seoul on March 24th.”
With regards to the recent disputes between the members about their comeback, the representative stated, “Is it possible to have every member agree on every aspect of their comeback preparation? The members respect the differences in opinion and they’ve carefully worked on resolving each issue together as a team. Currently, there are no issues regarding the group’s comeback, and all members have nothing but motivation for their comeback preparations.”
Another representative also revealed, “The Shinhwa members have a healthy relationship with one another, and there are absolutely no problems regarding their comeback.”
Additionally, the CEO of Kim Dong Wan and Shin Hye Sung‘s agency wrote on Twitter, “When asked a question on their secrets to the group’s longevity, a member once answered that the group resolves internal problems by letting out their personal thoughts and arguing a lot.”
He continued, “I think the members will still be like that in the future. They will talk frequently, argue frequently, and forgive frequently, all the while caring for each other… They’re still the people who, after an intense discussion, one member would suddenly get up and do the ‘butt dance’ to make the other members burst into laughter and relieve the atmosphere. Shinhwa forever ^^”.
13 September:
With a March comeback just around the corner, Shinhwa is working harder than ever to prepare for their upcoming album. They recently got together earlier this week to discuss some series matters forShinhwa Company.
Member Minwoo, who is scheduled to be discharged from the army next February, has begun to plan out their concept while Junjin and Andy are trying to get back into shape in time for their comeback. Even while working on his acting career, Dongwan is still taking time off to participate in preparations and Hyesung is trying to stay out of the limelight as much as possible so that they can make a bigger impact with their comeback as a group.
Leader Eric is also as determined as ever. Having recently wrapped up his drama with ‘Spy Myung Wol‘, he’s chosen to work on Shinhwa’s album as top priority instead of acting in another drama.
A representative of the group said, “I talked with one of the members and they’re all just filled with much determination for their comeback. They’re even considering adding a clause in their contracts that prohibits individual/solo activities while promoting as a group next year.”
Shinhwa will be celebrating their 14th anniversary on March 24th with the release of their 10th official album and an Asian tour in six different countries.

Shinhwa have officially announced that they will be making their comeback as a group next March!
On August 1st, Shinhwa’s representatives revealed, “Shinhwa will be releasing a new album next March. They will be launching a concert, as well as promoting actively on broadcast programs. Starting in March, they will have three months of promotional activities. An Asian tour is still under discussion.”
As the longest standing idol group in the K-Pop industry (13 years!), Shinhwa briefly halted their activities as a group when the members went away to fulfill their military duties. The group will finally come together in March with Lee Min Woo as the last discharge.
The representative continued, “It is true that the members have been holding positive discussions. After establishing Shinhwa Company, the members are working out the finer details of their return.”
