On January 4th, actor Oh Ji Ho crossed over to singing with the release of the track, “I’m a Man” for the OST (soundtrack) of his upcoming new drama ‘Strangers 6‘.
“I’m a Man” was written and composed by Park Sun Joo, and is a song about a man’s painful love. The songs slow and sad melody ties in well with Oh Ji Ho’s smooth vocals.
The music video was released in conjunction with the track and it contains clips from ‘Strangers 6′ where Oh Ji Ho plays a secret agent that inevitably falls in love. The drama is a Japanese-Korean-Chinese co-production and the plot itself illustrates the story between six members of international organizations in Korea, Japan, and China, who work to overcome their personal feelings against each other to maintain the three countries’ joint economic zone. At the moment, ‘Strangers 6′ does not have an official release date but it’s scheduled to air in Japan through Fuji TV and in Korea through MBCsome time in 2012.

On August 3rd, Japan’s Sankei Sports reported that SHINee will be singing the ending theme song for a Japanese-Korean-Chinese co-produced drama titled “Strangers 6“!
This will mark the first time that SHINee sings a theme song for an international drama. ProducerKawai Shinya said, “SHINee’s vocal talent and level of expression will add to the atmosphere of the drama.”
Other participating artists for the soundtrack include KARA and Japanese guitarist/singer, Hotei Tomoyasu. The drama aims to air in 10 different broadcast networks across Asia.
The plot itself illustrates the story between six members of international organizations in Korea, Japan, and China, who work to overcome their personal feelings against each other to maintain the three countries’ joint economic zone.
SHINee’s new track will be released in December and included in the drama’s OST.
