J.Y. Park‘s new film ‘5 Million Dollar Man‘ has undergone some date changes regarding its release.
Previously, producers announced that it’d hit theaters by June 28th, but final changes have shown that it will be out about a month later on July 19th. There isn’t a reason for the delay, but anticipation for J.Y. Park’s movie debut still runs high!
J.Y. Park will be playing the role of ‘Choi Young In’, a businessman that finds himself with a bag of cash and embroiled in a company director’s attempt to pocket $5 million worth of lobbying funds. Despite the heavy premise, the movie is described to be a comedy.

On December 13th, he shared a new still-cut from the movie through his me2day, writing, “This is a scene from our first filming for ’5 Million Dollar Man’ with senior Jo Sung Ha. It’s from the moment where a conspiracy is about to erupt inside a large-scale company. A moment of shock as he stands on the threshold of death… How do you like the feel of the movie?”
Dressed in a black suit with black-rimmed glasses, he’s seen facing off against Jo Sung Ha, who gazes into the distance with fiery, charismatic eyes.
The movie is centered around a salary-man that becomes involved in a tremendous conspiracy involving bribes. J.Y. Park also stars alongside Min Hyo Rin and Jo Hee Bong.
5 October:
The movie tells the story of a man (J.Y. Park) who gets caught up in some bad activities involving money. Min Hyo Rin will play the role of a strong-spirited woman who, along with J.Y. Park, perseveres in difficult situations.
The movie will be directed by Kim Ik Ro and produced by Harimao Pictures. A scene from the movie was already filmed on October 5th at Busan’s baseball field, and it’s said that full-scale productions will begin towards the end of October.

J.Y. Park is taking his acting career to new heights, as he’s just announced that he’s accepted the casting offer for the upcoming film, ‘The Man Worth $5 Million‘.
The movie is about a man who’s training to become a singer, but gets caught up in some bad activities with money. J.Y. Park will be taking on the leading role and is said to be taking acting lessons to supplement his experience from KBS’s ‘Dream High‘.
J.Y. Park previously teased fans about his upcoming projects at his fan-meet back in May by saying,“I’m going to show you my acting side a lot more this year. My album will also be a soundtrack for that project.”
The movie is being directed by Kim Ik Ro and produced by Harimao Pictures. Filming will begin in mid-October.
