New girl group Swing Girls made their debut with their lead track, “Run X3“, but to many K-Pop fans, they’re simply known as the ‘D-cup girls’. The members sat down for an interview with SPN and emphasized that they wanted to be recognized for their musical talents and not their cup sizes.
They began, “We don’t feel any pressure with the attention that’s being put on a specific body part. We’re actually thankful and see it in a positive light. We only worry about how our good song could become overshadowed by our physical appearance.”
Commenting on their stewardess outfits for the stage, the girls said, “It was made to give off a sexy feel while emphasizing our S-lines, but it’s far from being sexually suggestive.”
They continued, “We really put our lives on the line to work as hard as possible. We really want a rookie award at the end of the year and hope to avoid being a group that shines brightly for only a moment before disappearing; we want to be a group that lasts long with their music. We hope that people will regard us in a positive light. Please take an interest in not only our breasts, but our music as well.”
19 August:
‘D-cup’ girl group Swing Girls have finally released their debut single (and corresponding MV) on August 19th, and it’s already climbed quite high on the charts!
As of the 19th, the group’s title track “Run X3” secured #6 in ranking on major live music charts. Bugs Music in particular saw the girls edge out senior artists Kim Tae Woo and Rain while maintaining their positions in the top 10 on Melon and Olleh Music.
It’s difficult for even senior artists to land in the top 10 upon release, so the girls are definitely off to a positive start with their debut. One industry representative commented, “Their record is surprising, especially since they’re a rookie girl group who has yet to even start music program promotions. It seems their addictive song and sexy concept is working with the male fanbase.”
As previously reported, the girls boast an average height of 170 cm and ‘D-cup’ chests; they also possess a slew of beauty experience like participating in Miss Korea pageants.
Their name is a combination of the letter ‘S’ in ‘S-line’ and the word ‘Wings’, which expresses their desire to become the wings of the Korean music industry.

upcoming girl group Swing Girls first made headlines for their ‘D-cup’ chests. The girls are gearing up for what seems like an exciting debut, as they’ve just dropped some additional info about their first album.
Unlike other girl groups in the industry, Swing Girls are all in their mid 20’s. On August 19th, they’ll be releasing their first single album, and kick off promotions with their title track, “RUN X3“, a highly addictive dance track. Their B-side is said to be “Popsicle“, a sweet and bubbly track meant to show off their diverse charms.
Swing Girls said, “Our title track is sexy and charismatic while ‘Popsicle’ is cute. While ‘RUN X3′ is about falling in love with a bad boy, ‘Popsicle’ is just a sweet love story. They each have their own charms.”
The group also has a unique history to boast, with each member possessing some experience in the industry. Leader Seon In worked as an MC and reporter before joining her current agency, and she’s reportedly more skilled in dancing than singing; however, she’s said to have excellent leadership skills.
The team’s oldest member, Baha, trained for three years with Kinetic Flow and starred in Sung Eun’s music video. Member Eun Yul began singing since elementary school and performed with a variety of chorus groups. Because her parents opposed her dreams, she worked in a company before decided to audition in order to achieve her dreams.
Jenny, the team’s rapper, began auditioning the minute she entered college, before passing and joining her current group. For her debut, she lost about 9 kg. Meanwhile, The team’s maknae, Aran, was cast on the streets and is said to have beautiful looks, which placed her in various Miss Korea competitions.
The girls said, “Our ages range from 27 to 23 so we’re a bit late compared to the other idols. But we heard that there were a lot of trainees still in their mid 20’s. We want to become beacons of hope for them. As a dance group, we’re planning on pursuing a musical style that’s upbeat. All of us are working hard, thinking as if this is our last chance. Because of that, we don’t need to dorm together since we’re trained enough to be able to control ourselves.”
They continued, “Our outfit concept is ’stewardess’. Designer Lee Jae Hwan, who’s currently working in Paris, designed our outfits for us. Stewardesses are like a romantic fantasy for men and a dream for women, which is what we hope to become. Our biggest goal is to receive a rookie award, but our inner goal is to hear our music play in the streets or used as someone’s ringtone. Either way, there isn’t a group like us in the industry so we’re going to keep going with a color all of our own.”
11 August:
One of the most bizarre concepts ever taken up by a girl group will be making its debut this month in the form of a ‘D-cup’ group named Swing Girls.
On August 19th, a five-member girl group averaging 170 cm in height and all owning D-cup breasts will be making their debut, ready to set ablaze the hearts of men.
The girls revealed, “We joined our company after we saw a notice saying they’re looking for tall singers. Once all of the members came together, we all averaged 170 cm in height, and all had D-cup breasts as well. We’ll be using that as our differentiating factor, and thus debut with our sexiness.”
With ’sexiness’ as their main weapon of choice, the girls boasted a variety of experiences, such as taking part in modeling competitions and even competing for a Miss Korea pageant.
Their point choreography will be one they named themselves called the ‘heartache dance’. The ladies are also playing up to the romantic fantasies of men with a ’stewardess look’ to capture their hearts.
Swing Girls said, “We were afraid we might look like we’re cosplaying, but we like the outfits. They’re both mature and sexy and leave us a lot of room to express ourselves on stage.”
