OST Protect the Boss

16 September:

Last month, JYJ’s Jaejoong released the OST track, “I’ll Protect You for his SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘.
It took a while, but the MV has finally been released. The MV compiles various scenes from the drama, which is pretty standard for OST music videos.

On September 7th, singer Brian Joo revealed his OST contribution track for SBS’s popular drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘!
Titled “I Can’t Go“, the ballad expresses a lover’s painful lament over how he can’t move on from this one love. Brian’s emotional delivery adds a richness to the overall track, and a depth to heartbreaking scenes in the drama.

SS501’s Heo Young Saeng has just released an OST track for SBS drama ‘Protect the Boss‘ entitled “Sad Song.”
The track, comprised of a gentle guitar and piano melody, is perfect for a late summer night. It was written specifically for the love story between No Eun Sul (played by actress Choi Kang Hee) and Cha Ji Hun (Ji Sung) and is aptly very emotional.
Composed by Jun Hae Sung who also created OST tracks for ‘Secret Garden‘ and ‘The Greatest Love,’ the song fits both the drama and Heo Young Saeng’s voice perfectly and has already won the praise of the actors.
Heo Young Saeng has previously done solo OSTs for SBS ‘Will It Snow on Christmas‘ and ‘I Love you.. I’m Sorry..‘, MBC ‘Our Legend of Friends‘ and ‘Erasing Tears‘ as well as with group SS501for SBS ‘Internal Doctor Bong Dal Hee,’ ‘Childhood Memories,’ ‘Love I Can’t Forget,’ KBS ‘Boys Over Flowers,’ ‘Because I’m Dumb,’ and ‘Making A Lover.’
Other singers who have worked on the drama’s OST include JYJ’s Kim Jae JoongLynM StreetA PinkKwang Hee of ZE:A, and Ye Won of Jewelry with tracks titled respectively, “I’ll Protect You,” “You Don’t Even Know,” “I’m Asking,” ”Let Us Just Love,” and “I Only See You.” The OST tracks have all been well received by the viewers.
Heo Young Saeng’s newest addition to the OST is now available for purchase on Soribada, Bugs Music, Cyworld, Dosirak, MNet, Naver music, Daum music and other music sites as well. The OST album will be released on September 9th.

SS501’s Heo Young Saeng, who’s currently on break after promoting his solo album, “Let It Go“, will be returning with a new track for SBS’s ‘Protect the Boss‘ OST!
Heo Young Saeng commented, “I’m extremely glad to be able to participate in the OST for ‘Protect the Boss’. I truly hope that my song will fit in well with such a great drama.”
His OST track “Sad Song” was produced by composer Jun Hae Sung, who’s known for his works with ‘Secret Garden‘ and ‘The Greatest Love‘. Befitting of its title, the song will be used in sorrowful scenes between the two leads to better express the nature of their love.
The song will first be revealed in the seventh episode on August 28th, and will be released officially online on the 31st.

Jewelry’s Yewon and ZE:A’s Kwanghee released a duet, “I Can Only See You“, for SBS’s popular drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘.
The song aired during the August 18th episode of ‘Protect the Boss’, and it’s been described to be a sweet pop song with an impressive harmony.
“I Can Only See You” by Yewon and Kwanghee adds to the drama’s stellar repertoire of voices for its OST, including A.PinkLynJYJ’s Jaejoong, and M. Street.

Known for being a talented songwriter, JYJ’s Jaejoong caused some excitement in the industry when it was revealed that he wrote and recorded an OST track for his new SBS drama, ‘Protect the Boss‘.
Titled “I’ll Be There“, the song was recently released on the various Korean music portals.
The drama’s team of producers and managers stated, “Jaejoong performed just as we had hoped and expected. Because he is such a talented vocalist, we were able to record the entire song with ease.
They continued, “Jaejoong playing one of the main roles in the series was definitely advantageous… The emotions of the drama were effectively poured into the song.
