SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘s PD recently expressed his gratitude towards Super Junior‘s Leeteuk andEunhyuk.

Park PD revealed, “Leeteuk was with our program since the pilot episode back in 2009. Aside from the two times he missed recording due to his overseas schedule, he attended each and every recording. During that time, even though Super Junior became world stars through the Hallyu boom, he still maintained his place on ‘Strong Heart’ and I thank him for that. As the leader of Super Junior, it wouldn’t be difficult for him to appear in a talk show by himself show, but instead he filled in for our program.”

He also talked about Eunhyuk as he remarked, “During the rise of ‘Strong Heart’, Eunhyuk spent three months conducting his promotional activities in Taiwan for Super Junior M. But the group became a big hit. It was a personally satisfying seeing that happen,” revealing his fondness for the member.

“While the two of them were with us, there were hardships following the transition of MCs. I thank them for being with us through those hardships. It is a blessing to have met friends like these two. I think of how great it would be for the program to continue to thrive and if I’m still remaining here until Leeteuk gets discharged and returns.”

Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have been active as fixed guests on the show always bringing laughs with each episode.

In related news, Leeteuk will hold his last recording for the show on the 25th.

Actor Kim Ji Hoon revealed some behind the scenes stories before the formation of Super Junior.

Kim Ji Hoon was a recent guest on SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, and shared a few stories when he used to be a part of SM Entertainment. He revealed that he had practiced dancing with Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and even TVXQ‘s Yunho.

He said, “I think Leeteuk and Eunhyuk are amazing. Before Super Junior was created, a group named ‘Smile‘ was formed. Ultimately, it didn’t come to fruition but Leeteuk and Donghae were members in that group.”

Leeteuk confessed, “‘Smile’ was supposed to be the match to TVXQ. I always greeted people brightly and said, ‘Hello, I’m Smile’s Jungsu.’ We were just about to debut, but we didn’t. We didn’t know that South Korea would make it to the semi-finals at the 2002 World Cup. The soccer passion was so hot that we figured we wouldn’t gain attention even if we debuted.”

Kim Ji Hoon added, “It was actually for the better. There were five members, and Leeteuk along with Donghae stayed but the other three members couldn’t stand it and left the group. So in the end they became Super Junior.”

He also revealed his surprise at Super Junior’s success. When Super Junior was first announced, he revealed that he had his worries and said, “There was no past history in Korea indicating that a 13-member group could succeed, so I had a serious talk with them. Lets say they make 100 million KRW (approximately $90,000 USD), then they’d split half of that with the company, and then split it 13-ways once again with all the members. What would they do in terms of transportation? Would they use a tour bus? I sincerely worried about them. I had no idea that they’d one day be 1st place in Taiwan for 110? 117 weeks.“

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk shared a behind-the-scenes story about f(x)‘s Sullion the set of ‘To the Beautiful You‘.

On the August 21st episode of SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘, Leeteuk said, “I heard about a behind-the-scenes story for ‘To the Beautiful You‘”. He continued, “Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu made a cameo in the drama and he shot a scene in which he got into a fight with Sulli.”

Leeteuk explained that during one part when Sangchu was supposed to send out a punch with Sulli ducking out of the way, the two missed and Sanchu’s fist ended up making contact with Sulli’s nose. Although Sangchu had tried to loosen the power from his arm when he saw his fist about to make contact with her nose, it wasn’t enough for Sulli’s nose started bleeding from both nostrils.

However, Sulli showed her professionalism and determination to keep going. “It started to bruise up, so I just asked the staff to cover up the bruise and kept continuing on with the shoot,” she said, earning compliments from the guests on the show.

Leeteuk exposed his chocolate abs.

On the August 14 broadcast of SBS “Strong Heart,” the Super Junior member showed off his abs on the “2012 Hit Dramas” special episode in front of actors from “Ghost,” “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” “I’ll Give You the Stars and the Moon” and “An Angel’s Choice” among others.

Actress Kim Jung Nan who plays the Countess in  KBS “Bridal Mask” expressed her disappointment for not seeing idols on “Strong Heart.” She caused laughter in the studio as she said,” “When you appear on “Strong Heart” you expect to see SHINee,CNBLUE, Big Bang. I had my hopes high but besides Jang Hyun Sung, there’s no one.”

Leeteuk then got up and said that he had prepared a present for the actresses present. Upon seeing Leeteuk’s well build body Kim Jung Nan couldn’t hide her surprised look.

The Super Junior members may be close like brothers, but just like brothers, they get into big fights too.

On Strong Heart’s July 24 episode, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun unveiled a fight that occurred among the Super Junior members.

On the day of the fight, Kyuhyun had finished rehearsal for SBS’ Inkigayo and had gone to church and come back to Super Junior’s waiting room.

It was then, according to Kyuhyun, that Donghae decided to prank a sleeping Leeteuk by splashing him with water and running away, leaving an amused Kyuhyun behind.

But the prank backfired when Leeteuk woke up angry and asking who splashed water on his face. Seeing how angry Leeteuk was, Kyuhyun decided to turn himself in but found himself on the receiving end of a blow to his head in front of some 20 to 30 staff members.

Kyuhyun, then upset at the situation, yelled at Leeteuk, “Isn′t this a bit much hyung? How could you do this?” while holding back his tears.

Kyuhyun then said Leeteuk later apologized to him and promised to let him give the thank you speech for Super Junior′s win later. But after Super Junior′s win on Inkigayo, Leeteuk was seen giving the microphone to an awkward and stiff Eunhyuk, to Kyuhyun′s surprise.

Eunhyuk shared his perspective on that same incident revealing that f(x)′s Luna had hurt her ankle during the same music show′s rehearsal and Leeteuk had told the members to try and cheer her up by goofing around at Leeteuk′s expense.

However, Donghae kept going too far even when Leeteuk had told him to stop. When Donghae ended up splashing water on Leeteuk′s face, before Kyuhyun made his confession, Leeteuk had believed Eunhyuk had done it, and had hit Eunhyuk before he hit Kyuhyun.

Leeteuk also gave his take on the incident saying, “Donghae tried to pull down my pants in the waiting room in front of Victoria and when Donghae first splashed water on my face I grew angry thinking it was his spit. I decided to suppress the anger as a leader but when Donghae did it again, I thought Eunhyuk who was closest to me was the culprit for sure and lashed out. But seeing Kyuhyun laughing and later confessing, I believed that it was him.”

The incident led to the team members displaying a cold and joyless response even after they won first place on SBS’Inkigayo.

Leeteuk shared on his regret and emotions that day and revealed he even thought of ending Super Junior following the incident.

Shindong also shared on that incident and how much it tore him saying, “I cried the most that day. I followed after the three and kept telling them to make up but the atmosphere continued to feel strange. Pent up, I kicked a box after our performance in the waiting room but the Styrofoam inside the box contained a bottle of cola which exploded and hit Yesung′s face which led to the issue becoming bigger.”

Thankfully on a later recording for KBS’ Dream Team 2, the members achieved a record together as a team which led to the team naturally making up and averting what could have been a huge disaster.

On July 24th episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart’, Super Junior‘s Shindong shared his side of the story concerning the time when his fellow Super Junior members Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, and Leeteuk physically fought. He surprised the whole set as he confessed, “At that time, the person who cried a lot was me.”

Shindong started at the very beginning of the story, saying, “Prior to the fight, I was sleeping alone in the waiting room [of a music program].” He continued, ”I woke up when I heard the sound of Kyuhyun-ssi being struck.”

Shindong humorously revealed, “The atmosphere was strange, but what was really funny was that our manager was recording this [tense] moment with a camera.” The recording seemed to have come in handy, however, as Shindong added, ”After checking the video to see if someone had done something wrong, [I found that] they all had mishandled the situation. And so, I consoled the members one by one.”

Before going on stage, Shindong explained that he told the fellow members, “Let’s show [the audience] a professional image,” and when they won first place, he told the members, “Let’s smile,” continuing with his attempt to loosen up the tense atmosphere. However, the anger appeared to remain amongst the members, and as a result, Shindong, too, became frustrated.

Shindong expressed that he felt as if his efforts were being wasted, as he said, “I wondered what I had been doing until now, and then I got mad.” He continued to tell the story, ”Although we had finished [our performance] and returned to the waiting room, seeing the members’ faces as we went back in made me feel as if I was going to explode. I scolded them in a really loud voice and then kicked a box in front of me.”

After kicking the box, however, it opened and both styrofoam and soda cans spilled out. MemberYesung, who hadn’t done anything wrong, was then sprayed with the shaken soda.

Shindong expressed his immediate regret as he said, “I, the hyung, took my anger out on Yesung, who wasn’t doing anything.” He continued, ”I took my anger out on Yesung, but because I knew that he hadn’t done anything wrong, tears began to form.”

On this episode of ‘Strong Heart’, other guests who featured and shared their own stories included Nam Kyung Joo, Jun Soo Kyung, Park Ki Young, Solbi, f(x)‘s Victoria, After School‘s Jungah andLizzy, Lee Chung Ah, and Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun.

Super Junior leader Leeteuk revealed something new about himself.

On the June 12th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, actress Han Geuh Roo revealed she had more one extra vertebrae than the norm (26), totaling 27 in all.

She explained that because of this she experiences troublesome back pain, and in response Super Junior’s Leeteuk revealed that he took an X-ray after he had some back pain, and it looked as though he had one less vertebrae (25) than the norm.

“I always had my curved back ever since I was little, and my two vertebrae had coalesced, appearing as one,” he explained.

The singer then asked Han Geuh Roo to give him one vertebrae, causing everyone to remark that the two were a match made in heaven.

Super Junior leader Leeteuk talked about how the members resolve conflicts within the group.

SECRET member Han Sunhwa shared on the June 5th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘ that she sometimes feels alienated within her group, and Leeteuk who could relate remarked, “When there are differences in the amount of promotional activities amongst the members, misunderstandings sometimes arise.”

“We too have gotten into fist fights, and there was even an occasion where we flipped the dining table,” he admitted.

Leeteuk and Eunhyuk who admitted that they once fought after their #1 ‘Inkigayo‘ win remarked, “It’s not good to keep it all bottled in. Our relationship actually gets better if we work out together or get into a big fight.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk said they once shot a TV show after having a fight.

In the episode of SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang that aired on June 5, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk made a guest appearance and said they once had a fight after shooting a TV music program.

In the episode, Leeteuk said, “I had a fight with other Super Junior members after we received the Mutizen Song on a music program.”

Leeteuk said, “We had to shoot KBS 2TV’s Let’s Go Dream Team after that, and we didn’t speak at all while moving to the set. When the shooting started, we tried our best not to show that we just had a fight. But our anger melted away as the shooting went on and I found myself cheering the members up before I knew it.”

Eunhyuk said, “I was the finisher and my team won as I succeeded finishing the course with the best record. I only talked about Super Junior members when I gave an interview after that. I realized how valuable they were.”

Leeteuk advised, “Whenever you’re mad or unhappy about something, you should speak out and resolve the problem immediately even if you have to fight.”

In the episode, Secret’s Han Seon Hwa also said she once felt left out when she was with other Secret members.

On the March 6th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior member Shindong remarked that if he could trade places with anyone for a single day, he would want to become fellow member Eunhyuk.

When asked why he chose Eunhyuk, he explained, “I want to know what it’s like to be ugly like Eunhyuk.”

Shindong further revealed that among all of their members, Eunhyuk is consistently voted as the worst looking member.

Poor Eunhyuk then chose Lee Seung Gi as the person he would like to trade places with for a day. His reasons? The same as Shindong’s- he also wanted to become ugly for a day.

In response to Eunhyuk’s poor attempt at a joke, MC Lee Seung Gi stated that he would also like to be Eunhyuk for a day

“I’m envious of his dance skills,” Seung Gi admitted. “But I will have to decline looking like him,” he added, evoking much laughter on set.
