The actress was recently cast as ‘Mino’ for the upcoming film ‘Alice‘, a Korean interpretation of ‘Alice in Wonderland‘. The thriller fantasy will see the mysterious ‘Mino’ continue the dream of her dead father.
Producers revealed, “Inside Hong Soo Ah’s bright variety image, we were able to see an innocent emotion. Unlike her bright smile, she has a sorrowful look to her that we thought was perfect in expressing the character ‘Mino’.”
Hong Soo Ah stated, “The movie’s meaningful to me in that I’ve finally been cast in a leading role, something I’ve dreamed all my life for. It’s going to be a movie that will stay with me for the rest of my life. It’s true that I feel pressured to lead the movie, but like they say, truth and honesty will prevail, so I hope to just show that I’m working hard and create a great end product.”
Filming begins on September 19th, and the movie is expected to hit theaters by the end of next year.
